Throughout his career Superstar Salman
Khan has made sure that his films are
family oriented ones so that the entire
family can sit together and watch the
film. In his entire career. not once has
the actor done any steamy or even a
kissing scene on screen. While off
screen, he may have courted several
gorgeous ladies and been in the news
for the same but on-screen the actor
has always maintained his image of an
ideal son, lover or brother.
Salman, who is now gearing up for the
release of his home production
LoveYatri' starring his brother-in-law
Aayush Sharma, shared why he always
preferred doing family-oriented films.
The actor revealed to Times of India the
reason why he always stuck to his kind
of films.
Sharing an incident from his family, the
actor recalled how once his entire
family was watching an English movie
when a kissing scene in the film
appeared. Everyone turned their face to
avoid watching the scene. This created
a very awkward situation for
everyone. "That's why I feel, you don't
need such stuff in a film. You don't
need these gimmicks to make the film
work, told the actor to the leading
daily.
"In my first film, when Sooraj Barjatya
was directing me, I remember I had to
apply a balm on Bhagyashree's feet and
I did that while shutting my eyes. I
don't think sex or skin can sell a film.
That's not my way of making movies,
He further reasoned.
Well, if you look at Salman's career
graph and the blockbusters he has
given, then you won't disagree with
him.
