Hi can anyone tell me what's the dynamics between Daneen and Saif? It's a compromise marriage I know, but what's going on between the two behind the closed doors? Why is he being so rude? Has he developed feelings for her and isn't able to comprehend the feelings inside him? Is the rudeness stemming from jealousy? Or is he just being a typical husband exercising his rights? I didn't get the dialogues b/w them in the last episode like paise rakh ke jaun tabel par. The context of the whole scene anyone?
quite frankly even i don't get the change of dynamics between them......like a few episodes back they were chill but now suddenly saif is behaving like a whack job !!!! i guess they need to justify areesh and daneen hence antagonising saif's character! i dont think his rudeness is stemming from jealousy because he has serious unresolved feelings for his deceased ex wife........same actually i wanted someone to tell me what that money on table conversation was all about plus the urdu words were a little heavy so i didnt quite comprehend it as well.......Originally posted by: Commelina

I sympathize with Aania. She has grown under a strict guardianship. Her brother got the freedom of moving away, finding himself, making mistakes and learning from them, in turn growing up. Whereas Aania in order to earn love, became Dadi pleaser, a habit that branched out into other relationships as well. Sab ko khush karte raho, kuch mat bolo
My guess is she never felt home at this place because at home we dare to make mistakes, sometimes we laugh it off, sometimes we cry and learn. Here, it is evident from her low voice, that she never dared to commit mistakes, she never tasted freedom.
She's always been vulnerable, insecure, scared to be disowned, rejected and has a very low self esteem. She thinks it's okay to be not loved in a marriage. It's okay to not speak up. Yahi meri kismet and all that. That is the kind of conditioning she has gone through. When she entered the marriage she thought her love would be enough. It could have been had she also the strength of mind and the courage to pursue what she wanted. She has sub consciously accepted the truth somewhere that Areesh won't be hers. The worst thing though is she refuses to speak up. Kabhi speak up kiya hi nahi...toh ab bhi nahi kar rahi hai
It doesn't matter Areesh doesn't love her, at least she should ask for respect. Like Daneen even after going through so much speaks for herself. Tells Saif that he's supposed to give her time. Bhale hi it doesn't help much but still she tries.
In my opinion, Aania, doesn't need Areesh. In fact Areesh is ruining whatever confidence and self dignity she had. She should leave him, leave the household, use her own money if she has to fund a trip for herself or maybe borrow some money from her brother, go and spend some lonely time.
She doesn't need to find a loving husband, rather an Aania who can love herself, speak for herself. She's a decent person. I just want her eyes to glow with life and her voice to ooze with confidence.
quite frankly even i don't get the change of dynamics between them......like a few episodes back they were chill but now suddenly saif is behaving like a whack job !!!! i guess they need to justify areesh and daneen hence antagonising saif's character! i dont think his rudeness is stemming from jealousy because he has serious unresolved feelings for his deceased ex wife........same actually i wanted someone to tell me what that money on table conversation was all about plus the urdu words were a little heavy so i didnt quite comprehend it as well.......
I don't want Daneen to go back to Areesh. Because seriously, I don't like the trend that they are showing in the shows these days. That at first hero heroine will marry other people and then they realise and get back.
What I was hoping for that Daneen and Areesh take the failure of their relationship as a lesson and move on. Daneen is trying also but this sudden butchering of Saif's character. He was decent in the first few episodes and although I was skeptical about the age gap still thought that Saif's maturity and grounded nature would balance Daneen's vivacious and impulsive nature. With time they would grow closer.
But this new twist clearly indicates that Daneen and Areesh would be the end game. Aania's character has no development while Saif's graph is going in a negative direction. So disappointed.
Also, why is everyone trying to break Daneen's spirit. She loves life and tries to live it on her own terms but people around her keep taunting her about her ways.
Though they loved her, her family did not approve of her ways.
Now, Saif has started with his taunts. I felt bad seeing her hurt expressions when he comments on her character.
She's thick skinned. Agreed. But these hurtful comments are slowly killing her day by day.
One of these days, she'll give up all her individuality just because the world could not accept her as she was.
I guess people here are all living with the consequences of their choices. Be it Areesh, Aania or Daneen. No one is happy.

Hello everyone. I would like to know if there any fanfics based on this drama. Specially on Izzah and Altamash. Thank you.
Not many fanfics around here. But you can wait and be on a lookout. Izzah and Altamash burn the screen on fire when they are together and have everything that inspires a writer. So fingers crossed.

This is what I got from that scene:
We saw Daneen and her MIL playing Ludo with music on. The MIL told Daneen that it seemed like Saif was calling her but she was denying it and then when Saif came in she said she couldn't hear him because of the music. It seemed like she was trying to delay going into the bedroom as much as possible.
Then they showed Daneen sitting up in bed looking defeated and Saif coming out of the shower. So it seems like he was calling her to bed just to sleep with her.
Saif doesn't like the fact that Daneen is care free and isn't a timid wife which is why he has started to be rude.
In the OST they do show a scene where someone knocks on the door and Daneen runs to hide so maybe Saif turns into a psycho and Daneen tries to run away from him.

Oh so that's why he mentions about the money on table thing. Like he's telling her that it's his right as a husband and if not this then should he pay her for spending night with him.
This man turned out to be such a bad human being. That is why they say that one shouldn't hurry while making marriage decisions. What I had hoped for, (that is a good future of Saif and Daneen), is a once in a blue moon case, or else mostly such things only happen.
Edit - Just checked out the ost and yes, you are right. It seems Saif turns abusive and it is Areesh who comforts her. They are shown sitting against the walls, opposite to each other. Daneen is all torn and tired.
Saif's mom was expecting Daneen to fill colors in her son's life. Little did she know he will make her life colorless.
If not for Izzah and Altatmash bright glowing chemistry, this show would have been really depressing to watch.
