Rishabh has my anger and my pity

Rishabh has walked over to the dark side completely in today's episode - extremely difficult to bring him back. I am obviously very angry with him like a lot of forum members might be, he badly needs horsewhipping after today and maybe a dunk in iced water too
But I am also pitying him today - abandonment issues that are this deep seated and go way back to when he was a teenager, are not easily solvable. The movie "Dear Zindagi" attempted to take a stab at this topic but was not able to handle it well. Commitment issues resulting from fear of abandonment is always a challenge (Rithwik has it) ... but villainous anger towards someone, especially family, becomes way too dangerous

Rishabh is not a regular mercenary villain who's actions are incented by property and money. What he really wants is for his parents to love him the most, and he thinks that he can get this by making them hate Rithwik.

Unfortunately, much as we treat parents as Gods, they are not perfect. A lot of families have this challenge, where one child amongst others is loved just a tad bit more, and without logic or reason.

Which is why an alternate part of me feels bad for this guy, now bordering on villainy ... because perhaps for a temporary period of time he can make his parents hate Rithwik, but it will never mean that they will love Rishabh as much as they loved Rithwik. VP and Mamta will always keep him second in their emotions, albeit unconsciously.

I hate Rishabh not because he is trying to his parents hate Ricky but because he is trying to use his mother's condition in this. Using palak and Ricky's relation was different but this is different. How heartless is he exactly.
And yes I agree with you whether Ricky remains in noon house or not VP and Mamta will always give first preference to Ricky. Because he was the lonely one. Ritwick faced severe PTSD because of his mother it got ok because of Palak and her love. But Rishabh has some deep seethed hatred for his family which is very dangerous.

It would be such a surprise if VP throws out rishabh instead of rithwik...By the time rithwik comes home , rishabh may have left for London...Hopefully mamtas condition is stable ...The truth comes out in the open...rishabh can play grey by trying to acquire his fathers company with the new partner ...It is supposed to be a big invention ...We can have Palaks talent in medical field get them on their feet ...Also give us 2 anchors in the life of the noon men.

Making Rithwik bad in their parents book is something else and not calling him when his mother was unwell is something else! Clearly he's can't see anything else than making Rithwik's life hell!!

He has gone to the dark side ... he wont blame himself, he will blame Rithwik if something happens to Mamta, and he will hate Rithwik more, make his life hell some more. If he had to do any self-realization, he would have done it by now, but evidently he has become blind to his own actions ...which is why I say that his issues have made him dangerous.

Exactly ... he has stopped seeing rationale. This is a mental issue and no one in the family realizes how bad it has become.

As Rithwik said, he should have talked to his parents a long back before letting his anger get to this level

I can relate to Rishabh really well. Parents do that all the time. They aren't perfect and I relate to how he's reacting but the anger should be shown at the parents and not at the sibling. Ritwik isn't responsible.
