Well-known character artist, Manish Choudhary, is quite satisfied with his latest Sony show, Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai, which is on its way out.

"I had an amazing time in this six months stint. My Delhi-based South Indian businessman character Krishna Kanth or K.K Reddy really came out well. I was more focussed on the presentation of the character as a day to day South Indian guy, as opposed to someone from Punjab, rather than the business part, for all magnates have just one thing in mind profits at any cost. You do end up kinda like Hitler as well.

Prior to this Bindu Moving Images project, Manish has done a lot of varied work on TV. "Being clear about the kind of small-screen work I do has fetched me interesting characters e.g. an anti-drug officer (Powder) to an army colonel (Everest). This was followed by a councillor role in Code Red (TV Series) Umeed.

"But unfortunately, none of the above shows, including Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai, really raked in the huge numbers. To be honest, knowing that I can't really control numbers, I don't bother about TRP. I do stuff that I fancy and if numbers come, it is a bonus.

Looking ahead, Manish, who has just played the main bad guy in the recently released hit John Abraham flick, Satyameva Jayate, is game for web series as well. "This format allows us to push the envelope as far as creativity goes. Also, web, unlike TV, is not yet governed by ratings. Having said that, it would be better if makers did not go overboard in taking advantage of the lack of censorship and filling the screen with lovemaking scenes and abuse, even when the story does not demand the same.

In closing, he regards his last TV show, P.O.W Bandi Yuddh Ke, as a half-way attempt between TV and the web. "My character, Major Vikram Singh, who first sniffed a conspiracy with the sudden release of the prisoner, really made an impression on the viewers. Good content always find its viewers, sooner or later.

Best of luck, Manish for your next!!

See Manish understands.😆 But seriously, wonderful actor... just an interesting character. I wish he had had the chance to see more shades of him.

Agree with him on the web content. Should not become a medium to show adult content.

Good luck Manish Choudhary. Will remember him as kk Reddy

Yes the show really consumes you and emotionally drains you out . It's very disturbing too esp their jail scenes    .
The cast of the show is Amazing , each and every actor and even their love stories .
I specifically loved Imaan-Naz and Vikram-Shobha tracks . And my fav character were Imaan and Siddhant ❤️😆 .

Manish really loved it , going by his reactions and how he was active on twitter and really wanted people to watch that show . It's like he really believed in that project and thought it was one game changer . And It really was .
The Show was BRILLIANT ... and the Cast Satyadeep, Manish , Anurag, Sandhya , Rasika and so many more ...FABULOUS .

Its based on two  Kargil war heroes Imaan and Sartaj turned POW , They come back after 17 years and by that time how their life has changed  . How their family equations have changed . And are officials doubt if they are still Loyal to their country or not .

Just in case if anyone of you interested in POW.
