MPKDH was the only film where he went OTT. Even he is embarassed of this film n he actually felt even while shooting but did not dare to question Sooraj Bartajiya. 😆 He acted pretty good in K3G, Yaadein and even Mujhse Dosti Karogi. 

While Kareena was OTT in almost every other film of hers. Like Bipasha said "Too many expressions". 😆

ThT time Kareena had another offer from J.p Dutta for movie Refugee and Karishma is very serious with Abhishek Bachchan. So they  chose to opt out and made all drama on sets of Knph

To credit nepotism to someone who has sustained for 18 years is just silly at this point.
Nepotism gives you opportunities, but cannot sustain for this long.

The reason Kareena is as successful as she is, a combo of her persona, her screen presence, her controversies, her talent, and her constant reinvention. Just when you think she's out, she throws a curveball.

I'm always surprised how people revere her for JWM. She was making crass expressions even in that film. But somehow Main apni fav hoon was such a novel concept for some people. I always thought that was the norm. 😆

There's a film Lucky by Chance made by Zoya Akhtar and she hinted that the greedy crass mother in that film who sends her daughter to producers was based on Babita.

Babita has been known to do that but I think she clearly said it's a hint towards all actresses mothers, who do things like this esp till the early 2000s. Babita has always been extremely money & power hungry otbsbly because she married an unsuccessful actor from a highly illustrious film family. It's obvious in how she got Karisma married off immediately to a really well-to-do businessman & then claimed they're childhood fiends lol & in how Karisma once said/hinted that her mother was keen for her to start something with Saif b/c extremely privileged blue-blooded illustrious family.. Absolutely this! K3 is actually a good & effective actress & her star aura is SOMETHING ELSE!!! She has the strongest of them all & it's super-obvious even offscreen!! Never seen another star with SUCH an aura. It's her beauty + talent & connections that have got her here. The only actress who can deliver flops one arre true other & still be a popular & top actress & have the same aura. RK & she are the best products of nepotism.

In that case, Kareena would have hire a new director not Rakesh Roshan. How can they expect so much from a senior director or any other director to obey the mother daughter religiously.
