As a Punjabi Hindu, most of my family, immediate and distant, is full of non vegeterains or eggterains.
Also, unfortunately I know too many people who started consuming eggs and lean meat once they joined the gym. Many of my pandit and brahmin friends also consume meat by choice. This is a random thing. Anybody tried Chettinad Chicken BTW? That's delish. I am not including those who became non vegetarians after moving abroad.

I don't know which India some of you live in but beef is a big no no in majority of hindu households, dalits included. Only Some dalit communities consume it.

The duration/regularity Of meat intake is not being debated. Merely the fact that "most Hindus are vegetarian. Let's stick to the subject. That established, if you eat meat once a month, week or day.. You are still a non-vegetarian. 😆

I think social media plays a huge part in misleading people. The amount of hatred spread is ridiculous.

And more dangerous than hatred is misleading "news". It is a dangerous trend. I know few guys here, who absolutely loathe Modi, and I was like, what is the reason, one was like 'he is feku, because he said he will give us 1million from Swiss Bank, and it was all cheap talk". I just replied him, "I dunno whether he promised or not, but do you or me really deserve even a paisa of that??" He was blank, and than went on ranting about GST/Demonetization and so on. I stopped there because I knew it was useless debating with him. But I noticed one thing is, he is following all those facebook pages which are super biased and always give half picture of the situations. Thus I think this misleading and sensationalising of the facts/opinion will one day lead to something really grave.

And this isn't just limited to leftist, but also to those who get triggers when ever someone forwards a fake/old video of cow slaughter or just look at this article, no matter how stupid JNU Swara is, she didn't really said this about army men, still one misunderstood article and people are assuming stuffs about this being related to army, and reading properly.
For me this is a bigger grave issue than these BW idiots blabbering shit. People, especially educated people not reading things properly and sharing and forwarding. Like this article is clearly written by someone who has deep problems with this recent wave of government critics, who just bash anything Modi government related. This article isn't giving any insight or report, it is clearly hinting something which is false.
