i have seen an indipop video they have shown few songs to remind people the old days but many of indian said junoon sayonee is missing from the list and purani jeans by ali haider ..., were they popular in india as well back in days junoon or juniad jamshed's vital signs or sajad ali etc ?

Yes I remember both songs sayonee and Purani jeans. I was very little so don't know whether people listened to their other songs. But these two were very popular.

Junoon was certainly popular in the 90s in India! I was a kid then but looking back & from what I was told, it was. Now idk whether it was popular nationally but it was certainly known & liked a lot.

I didn't know Junoon and Purani Jeans were Pakistani bands until now:p

I was little, Sayonee was very popular.. Purani Jeans too.

They were famous around 2006-07, specially around DU campus fests. They used to get invited alot in DU. Then recession, CWG and 2008 attacks happened

Pakistani bands are so good, Only a couple of years ago I started looking more into them and they are quite enjoyable to listen to.
