How the character of siddhant became a shaayar!

Just wanted to share this.

So while this show was being conceputalized on a multiple round of tea last year in august..amidst heavy mumbai rains...i used to be a part of it on some days..and then i was busy travelling...probably in newyork..having forgotten about it.

So one fine day the maker (as i have mentioned earlier, i am really close to someone who spearheads or literally the one who has created the show and siddhant in particular) called me and narrated the plot and brief. About the lead being a bihari and a lawyer. Amazing father-son relationship. Layered philosophical stuff. So i randomly said ki aise deep relationships to tv pe kaise dikhaaoge. Prose meim possible nahi hai poetry bolna padega (sarcastically). And poetry khaak (damned), kissi ko dekhna hai tv pe.

Uske baad meri koi baat nahi hui iss baare mein...and then when the show was getting launched i got a message from the maker.."poetry main samjhaayenge..agar unko khaak nahi dekhna yeh...toh mujhe bhi khaak fark nahi padta ki woh na dekhe. But thank you for suggesting poetry in my show. I owe it to you".

Since then i have come to understand 2 things:

1) iss show mein poetry hone mein mera bahut bada credit hai :)

2) as u guys dont know the maker in person..i can tell u..he is the true siddhant...both in his good and bad qualities :)

Sorry for the rant..but i thought this one is for history.

Thank you for sharing this Buzz! 😃 And thank you for suggesting the makers of this show to add poetry! Although I find some difficult to understand.. really can't imagine Siddhant without his shayaris!

Thank you Buzz! The poetry really adds a layer of dimension to the philosophical stuff. Its sort of a tough line to walk between philosophy opening our minds to complexity of thought vs coming across preachy or self righteous. So I think the poetry really helps with that.

Many congratulations and hearfelt thanks 👏 to you and the maker for creating the Mr. Bihari, Sidhant and the shayar at that! Cannot tell you how elated, I was to see a Bihari protagnist! The Bihari nuances that the Sinha household oozes are outstanding! The poetic quality in Siddhant is to die for!!!

P.s. I don't understand the technicalities of the production process, but feel that u guys have excelled in all the departments, direction, actors, scripts, music, background score, lighting (love the way Siddhant's face light's up on specific times), costumes (in sync with characters and even the use of colors in sync with the story.) 👏

Poetry has added a different layer in Siddhant's character and I said somewhere before that it sets him apart from any other lead on ITV. Thank you for suggesting what you suggested. You do deserve the credit.

Couldn't have imagined Siddhant Sinha without shayari!

Thanks a lot!

It makes him so retable and every time he recites a shayri, my heart skips a beat. It improves the presentation and in short, the message goes across faster and in a deeper better manner. I'm sure there are tons of people who love Siddhant for his shayri. And that adds a whole new meaning to his unsaid words. Almost like reading a hardcore book with multiple interpretations.

Cannot thank you enough for it!
