According to the information, Ranbir Kapoor has received a fee of Rs 25 crore for his role in the film.

Besides Ranbir, Dia Mirza, Karisma Tanna, Sonam Kapoor, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal and Tabu will be seen in the lead role.TV Actress Karishma Tanna will be seen in the role of Madhuri Dixit in the film. For this role, he has charged a fee of Rs. 1 crore.

Actress Tabu has a special appearance in the biopic as herself. So for few minutes of screen space, the Bollywood diva has taken Rs. 60 lakh.
