YRF stopped making low budget romcoms where she was a standard fix. The difference between Alia and Parineeti is that Alia balanced similar Dharma films with films outside thanks to her mentor. Parineeti depended on Aditya and Alia's mentor to give her those extra ordinary films. Anyways I feel Parineeti has finally seen sense. If her future films click she is set. Otherwise I am afraid she is over. By 2019 there will be too much starkid competition and more options. Producers will prefer new starkid faces rather than flop faces.

Everyone praised her to the skies during lvrb and ishaqzade because at that time she was new and her spontaneous performances seemed very good when in actuality she was just playing herself. Later people realized that that's the only thing she can do and lacks versatility.

Doing Dharma doesn't mean anything. Kareena also got a lot of Dharma movies and every single one of them flopped. They did nothing for her or vice versa.

yes i literally joined india forums to comment on this post. so dont troll me. and lots of alia bhatt fans on here so im scared. 😆 I think parineeti is talented, and to say she is one note? not really.. go watch her in ishaqzaade and htp. she is brilliant. and alia could never do her roles. now watch alia in shaandaar, was she beyond amazing in that film? all she did was pretty much jump around on screen and wear a pink bikini and act like a child. alia gets wayy too much hype on here,, and yes she has delivered some great acting skills and has had some beautiful films to her name. but just look at the films shes offered. I think parineeti would be untouchable in similar roles. her command over her language and how natural she is is just uncomparable compared to alia...but this is just my opinion of course. I will not write her off. she has dibaker's next and some other good films in the pipeline so i think ppl may be surprised. think alia will have competition with her and with other newcomers in the next coming 5 years no doubt!

Pari chose wrong scripts I guess. Also the break cost her a lot. Alia worked through those years and went ahead. For an industry like this u can't afford to vanish from the limelight. Audience tends to forget u and the love they had for u. It gets difficult to earn back that love again. I don't know what made her decide such a thing when things were going great for her. She wasn't that fat anyways that she needed a break to get back in shape. Could have done while working too. They get plenty of breaks between shoots.
