Regarding other singers they praise other singers its normal, you're just singling out Sonu because you prefer him. Singing out of your comfort zone isn't good enough if you're not able to do as good as the specialists in that zone. Otherwise whats the point of it if its not upto that standard?

Thats why i say playback bollywood singers should stick to their strengths thats how we like to see them

rafi was one singer of that time who sang ghazal , qawali , low pitch , hi pitch , loofer songs , love , sad classical , bhajans , naat, shabd of christans one voice and so much diversity 😊 singing out of comfort zone is great when u can justify it to the core this is what makes a difference 😊 bollywood playback singing in the 90's was , the defination of playback singing change time to time in 60's highly classical songs were part of playback , then in 80's was dedicated more to party songs and in 90's normal melody songs were considered playback now its high pitch singers singing is a norm of playback , u need to have all in you to survive longer there is a reason why kumar sanu ended up in late 90's and completely vanished after nadeem shravvan were out of business because kumar sanu didnt upgraded his singing with time himesh reshamiya at that point said kumar sanu can not sing new songs... downfall of sonu nigam is not due to he is out dated like what was the case of kumar sanu but sonu downfall happened because of his fights of royalty and not signing a single music company , he says i am not a new commer to get in contact with one music company, music business is changed every company have their own set of artist singing for them company give them songs make them huge and earn percentage from those singers concert, like at that point himesh as composer said kumar sanu can not sing new songs today new composers like jeet ganguly say sonu nigam can sing any thing he is the one who brought westren singing back in 90's to bollywood with yeh dil dewana he can sing current songs too but the decision makers are not composers now many people are involve with it hence jeet said we can not choose our singers by ourself he are bind to work with singers told by music comapnies

the song is iconic only because of SRK&Kajol and the visual brilliance of the scenes and the tune and the lyrics...KS's voice dragged like anything in this song...The best song from this movie is 'Ho gaya hai tujhko toh pyar sajna' Udit Narayan at his best and even Abhijeet's 'Zara sa jhoom lu mein' is so much better than this song in terms of voice rendition...

The songs he sang got popular, mainly because of the music. Melody in them could survive his nasal singing.

I wish "Do Dil Mil Rahe Hei" was sung by Abhijeet. He was so good at soft numbers.
