So Ishq Subhan Allah completed 50 episodes today. 🥳

a beautiful tale of two head strong individuals who might view differently but at the core believe in God with the same and equal passion. For them, thier religion is the basic code of conduct. Two such people who got married - not to hate each other, not to take revenge .. but to make it work.

I got hooked to ISA on that first footsie on Kashmir honeymoon .. i dont know what tugged at my heart, was it the innocence or pure goofy expressions of Kabeer who felt as if the world stopped because his feet were entangled with his wife's feet.! 😳 ❤️

The admiration and love never stopped after that. I admire ISA for being i guess the only show on indian Television which took the physcial intimacy jhanjhat out of thier way as the first thing. They need to be commended for that .. that was a brave move.

I know people have bashed Kabeer and Zara so much for being mysogonist and doormats respectively, but somewhere i get them .. i just connect to what they do and why they do .. Kabeer is so hopeless in his upbringibg to the extent that he cannot let Zara interfere with his thoughts .. he has too much pride in his mindset and Zara is raised by a progressive loving father who allowed her to develop a mindset of her own .. and because of that she can openly accept that she is in love .. and easily too .. and now why does she want to help kabeer ? She is in love .. simple .. irrevocably in love with her husband .. and love happens without a reason.

I connect with Zara's love without a reason wala love .. i get why she stays so gooey eyed around kabeer .. why she looks at him as if he is the only perosn in this world .. why one slight smile from Kabeer makes her feel the stars are shining on her .. i get it ! I just do ..

I love this serial .. it made me fangirl after almost 2 years on a couple .. I cannot wait for kabeer to fall in love .. i just cannot .. ❤️

and before i end, lets share our favourite scenes from 50 episodes ..

Although i am still not over those hand holds in kashmir before thier consummation .. but a scene even more beautiful is one of thier fights ..

"kya sari umer aisey hi jawab do gi?

"aisey sawal karogey tu aisey hi jawab milengey sari umer"

This "sari umer" is so much love. The fact that not for once they both talked about divorce is why this story is pure heart. It treats marriage with the respect it deserves .. even when they were against each other they knew they have to make it work !

Looking forward to everyone's favourite scenes .. 😳

I love this show SO MUCH!! Its so realistic. I honestly have no complaints so far except the Ruksar overdose. Other than that, everything is depicted so beautifully. Nice post. You perfectly described this show.
My favourite scene/scenes are when Kabir always introduces his wife as "humari begum, Zara Kabir Ahmed". I love this because he acknowledges that they are one.

Another Fantastic post!👏
I honestly feel as if this show has been embedded within my life,
I love watching different view points and the logical debates these two have. And not some random Tashan like shows I've watched in the past where leads bicker over silly things.

It makes sense.

Well where did I come across this show.. I used to watch kdb every single day and I saw the first promo 'Allah se daar nahi, Mohabaat karte hai janaab'. I had seen Eisha in Ikrs before as well and I was intrigued to see her playing a Muslim girl. But boy did I judge adnan too quickly. I thought hmmm nothing special here😕 was totally and utterly wrong about that. This guy has talent!

Then 3 days after the show aired, on my birthday 😆there was a really bad snow storm here 😆and I was sat at home flicking through the channels and suddenly I come across a guy helping a girl from a mob of people. He pulls her up onto a truck and they had the most beautiful eyelock ever ❤️(I ignored reema in that first meeting scene)😆

Then before I knew it I was hooked...

Honestly I don't think I can name just one scene as my favourite. Each and every scene had me mesmorised.. their chemistry is just breath taking!

Ok best scene... hmmm.. obviously the first hand holding scene then the train scene where he saved her as she trips over. Then of course the beautiful beautiful scene by the stream in Kashmir. She holds out her hand and he gently places it in his own. ❤️

That one scene defined their relationship, they will be eachothers strengths one day and that they will never be separated😳

I love every single hand holding scene, they are all so unique and significant.❤️

Wow post honey!May I know your name pls ?We met on twitter but never ever had a intro!

Well my favorites are so many scenes!
First I started to watch from Zara's "Lucknow pe kya tumhare baap ka raj chlta hai !"

My badass Zara!
I have seen promos..but I ignored it as its a Muslim show...(No offense to anyone as I have always different perspectives ) and didn't observe much! But Zara made me to watch this show!!And Now I'm in love with this show!

There are so so many beautiful scenes from these 50 episodes!!Start from I love Zara-her Abba more than ZaBeer I think..I just connects with their scenes !ZaBeer wedding when Zara remembers all her childhood memories with her father ...episode 16 I guess...that scene stole my heart!!

Then almost All ZaBeer scenes are my favorite..First meet, their triple talaq debate,. When they talk about Zara's dress,Interview ,Kabeer's possessiveness over Zara's burkha ,Kashmir track ,most beautiful was "Farz nibhane k lite shukriya mere maulvi"

And there are so many dialogues I have shared in dialogue thread..they all are my favorite! The same you said-Zindagi bhar one was too!

50 episodes is beautiful journey and don't know but I trust CVS...hopefully upcoming will beautiful journey to complete more episodes! All cast and crew ,director ,writers are doing awesome job!

Thank you for this post!

Nice post...

I got pulled into the show due to Zara's fierce and speak-your-mind-with-a-class character. The first promo where she says "Quran ratt ne ki nahi samajh ne ki cheez hai janab" and I was like this show looks interesting! And tbh...that's wats still keeping me interested till date.

There are many scenes that are on my fav list and are not necessarily zabir scenes. Will list them in order from most fav:

1. Abba- Zara scene just b4 nikah. The way abba gives Zara the full liberty to decide her future during nikah ceremony. Just loved that talk and how he tells his daughter that her happiness is utmost important for him and that she will not be forced nor questioned if she does not accept the nikah. Its the best scene I have ever seen till date.

2. Zabir Nikah scenes where they actually say "Qubool Hai'. The entire sequence of Zara's flashback of how much love her abba had raised her with was so profound. And despite wanting to back off, she goes ahead with the marriage for the love of her parents and Kabir despite wanting to also back off is not able to for reasons he could not make sense with but a certain strange pull was there and as a viewer we could see it. Poignant!

3. Zara-Kabir scene in 1st epi after the train ride scene where she asks Kabir if he would also go through triple talak route if he ever comes to that point and where she says the famous dialogue "Hume taras aata hai uss ladki par jo kal tumhari biwi banegi.

4. Ayesha scene post Zara running away after her engagement. I loved Ayesha's protectiveness for her future daughter-in-law's right of sitting next to Kabir. She didn't let ruksaar sit there and asked Zara's ammi to sit with her.I loved what she said that both Zara and Kabir were shadows of their respective mom's and thus they will represent them by sitting in the bride and groom's chair. Lovely!

5. Kabir-Ruksaar scene post salty kheer fiasco. When Kabir tells Ruksaar " Woh humari biwi hai"! Love it. I am a sucker for men taking pride in their wives. Gives a high u see.

6. When Kabir instantly sees through his abbu and Ruksaar during honeymoon planning and not only reject honeymoon idea but questions his abbu directly regarding the conspiracy. I loved sharp and sassy Kabir. Where has he gone????

7. Zara-Reema scene post ruksaar hospital scene after Ruksaar's suicide attempt. The way she dances after going into the room all relived that engagement is cancelled. Such a sweet simple yet very realistic scene. Reminded me of my days when I used to dodge marriage proposals.

8. Zabir conversations before marriage. Be it their phone or their meet and discuss plans to cancel marriage conversations...each of them were just slaying it and when Zara's phone got damaged by her ammi and they could not talk, their 'tadap' of a different kind to talk to each other was such a cherry on the cake.

9. All Kashmir scenes were lovely but the one that has my heart is post kidnapping when Zara questions Kabir as to why he didn't divorce her even though his life was on the line. I just love this gal's guts to question straight up without beating around the bush. She did the same the other day when she questioned him again as to why he chose to work with parayi aurat and not his wife. Also that prayer scene where Zara joins Kabir's hand to pray for love and togetherness. Serene is the word.

Zabir are wonderful no doubt. AdiSha chemistry is fireworks but if I look at the show and characters, these scenes stand out for me.

Fantabulous post F!

I love all of ZaBir scenes. Loved their squabbling before marriage.

Few other scenes that have stayed with me are...

1) Zaras biddai. TBH, i normally FF biddai scenes, every one wails and it sounds more like mourning. The whole sequence In ISA it was moving. Zara was forced into a marriage by her loving parents and she is going to the house of a man,she couldn't even tolerate as her enemy.
I could see her leaving her old life/family and embracing a new life with heavy heart.
No wonder even Kabir & his family was moved. Zara& family rocked that scene.

2) Aisha counseling her obedient son before his wedding night and Kabir honestly telling her he needs time to get used to this unexpected marriage.

3)I liked Zeenat- Shebaz face off when she threatened to break her marriage with his eldest son he gave her the ultimatum to stay or see her husband getting married to someone else.
As much as I loved Shrebaz for his brilliant counter move, Zeenat's vulnerability as a woman facing the might of a patriarchal system touched me.

4) Of the Kashmir scenes, i liked their bickering at break fast, especially Zara saying, "Tujhe dikha dikah kar kayenge" Eisha was lovely as a piqued young bride.also loved, how Kabir tried to stop her by holding her hand and rushed after her when she left in a huff.

One good thing about Zabir fights are the way they are written, they're not insulting each other by class or looks, they argue over issues and either change their views or stick to their stand.

TA with you on Zara mooning over Kabir. He is her hero, who put his life in line for her, who dreams for other people and they're married with blessings from every one and her Pir. Why wouldn't she make the first move and try to make his dreams come true?

Thank u so much, ruksaar overdose is too much for me too! ..

and Zara Kabeer Ahmed shows the bond, and the acknowledgement! .. which IMO is the biggest respect a husband and wife can give to each other ❤️
