Talking to HIP exclusively, Minal Khan, is all praises for Rafay Rashidi, Mohsin Talat and Uzma Iftikhar, the team behind her upcoming project.

"Nisbat revolves around this very strong and brave girl called Meher. The drama is being directed by Mohsin Talat and is based on a script by Uzma Iftikar of Parchayee fame."

Talking about the storyline of her upcoming project, Minal mentions how it revolves around the word Nisbat in its entirety. "Nisbat means identification and that is what this drama is all about. Meher is a very brave girl. She has this cousin Faris played by Faizan Khawaja, whom she adores. Faris is always with her, through thick and thin. Meher gets engaged to Taimoor played by Saad Qureshi, who actually says no to the match on the day of the wedding itself. How this strong, brave girl meets life head on and how her Nisbat changes from that point onwards is what the story is about.

Adding more about this upcoming project, Minal mentions how Nisbat is now her absolute favorite. "After Parchayee, Nisbat's script has become my absolute favorite. The girl Meher, her equation with her father, who is not her biological father, her cousin and her fiance, is absolutely beautiful. Mohsin Talat is an amazing director and Uzma Iftikhar really knows her way with her pen. We're having an amazing time at the sets, shooting for Nisbat."

Nisbat will also star ZQ, Khalid Anum, Ainy Zahid, Javed Jamal and Yashma Gill in prominent roles alongside Saad Qureshi, Faizan Khawaja and Minal Khan in the lead. Expected to go on air in the second half of 2018, Nisbat is being produced under the banner of Moomal Entertainment for Hum TV
