MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor is keeping the news mills churning constantly. We have been constantly writing about her upcoming shows that are highly anticipated. And now Kapoor has given us fodder to keep her buzzing.
Looks like there's a war of words all set to take place on Twitter, this time between Indian TV soap queen Ekta Kapoor and Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie. The recent video of the Swedish YouTube comedian-producer titled You India You Lose, has gathered mixed response from the netizens. Looks like he happened to watch a few scenes of some of the old Indian TV soaps by Ekta Kapoor like Kasamh Se and took potshots at the editing of the shows in his latest video.
The YouTuber, whose real name is Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, trolled the dramatized scenes of the shows with an exaggerated background score. Not just that, he also mocked scenes from Rajinikanth's Robot.
He can also be taking a dig at the 'great Indian culture' while filthy messages from other trolls kept flashing on screen. While some of the viewers seem to have agreed to his take on Indian daily soaps but others disagree with his point of view about Indian men.
When Ekta Kapoor came across this video, she apparently got mighty irked with this YouTuber's views and the way he mocked all things Indian. Not one to take the trolls lightly, Ekta Kapoor took to her Twitter account and called him out in a series of tweets.
Well, Ekta truly shut him down like a boss, with her perfect response. We wonder how PewDiePie will react to this!
