This is only because he knows his life at Reddy corp is going to be difficult if Anushka keeps vetoing his decisions, regarding putting behind the hurt it is still very much there and however much Sid may try he can't get over that without closure, which I think ( a wild guess) may happen through the return of Bobby/Robbie. In the promos someone has sent boquets to Anu referring to their high school days while Anu looks at Siddhant and assumes it's him, I have a feeling it could be Robbie.

Yeah, you're right. Sid thinks it's a start but it's not. They're heading towards their past even more now 😆
