Avengers Infinity War becomes the 10th all-time highest opening day grosser

Avengers: Infinity War has done it. Said to be the most anticipated release of 2018 the film has taken off to a flying start at the Indian box office. Released across 2000+ screens in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu the film has managed to live upto both fan and box office expectation with an opening day collection of Rs. 31.30 cr.

In real terms IW has taken highest opening if we consider the screen count.

IW released on 2000 screen while all other 30+ Released on 3500+ Screen which is almost the double.

dont know why they didnt go for wider release but surely it will break so many records in the long term

TBH Infinity War had lesser screen counts than the other films...and ticket prices were also not very high compared to the others, i paid 500 for 2 ickets which is pretty reasonable..!!
Had the film released at 4000 screens or something then it would've definitely been the highest earning on opening day imo..!!

I really don't get the hype around this movie. And I'm someone who loves DC/Marvel movies but I couldn't finish the first part of avengers and since then didn't dare try watching any other part of this franchise.

The comic version of Thanos was really powerful. They have to show him weak and probably without his gauntlet to be actually defeated.
