After Zaira Wasim case, men shud avoid sitting behind women in public places. After the media reporter wrongly accused a Man who was helping people during Mumbai stampede as "molestor", i think men shud just keep walking n not help women.

Recently, a Indian slam poet was publicly shamed on Facebook by a woman who accused him of Rape. Luckily, the guy had the Whatapp conversations before n after the One night stand. It turned out it was the woman who lured the guy and later, also claimed "she had a great time last night" the very next day. It was consensual and definitely not Rape.

After her lie got exposed, she retracted her statement saying she did not expect it to blow up and apologized to the guy. Apparently, she was jealous of his not being interested in her and going with other girls.

Imagine if that guy didn't have those messages with him? He wud be scarred for life. Point is Respect each other, Respect Consent but it is also important for Good guys to be on their toes. Bcoz u will be assumed Guilty since Day 1. A Man's words mean nothing in this world. He HAS to prove his innocence with Proof.

No, i think some other guy. I forgot his name. But, i saw the Whatsapp messages in the news. Until then, everyone was asking him to be Jailed. But, after the messages got exposed, the girl accepted n apologised, they realized that it is important to hear both sides before jumping to conclusion these days.

Bollywood people are the biggest hypocrites. In Zara Wasim's case they were asking for the guy's punishment and now that the accused is from their fraternity, they are giving him clean chit.

In Pakistan a low level actress - accused some people of gang rape...next day it was found out that issue was them not paying money

I am with you..

This is a difficult situation ... almost all rapist, thugs, flirts are men ... they rape girls...even children..and do things like killing them throwing them in dump and then have the beghairati of taking rallies in their support...

In this scenario women have become sensitive they are not willing to listen to even sane person.

I have always made this policy in life that I keep a distance...even though I could have made lots of friends..many even directly invited me for evening get together (ok not many) and I dont mix personal life with professional or education. I do this with men also...

I have learned that remaining alone is the best way to go ... u avoid interacting with people like her who will be ok with u...but then one day snap...and accuse u like this without any evidence. even if he was a flirt and u were so pious then why did it not bother u in 5 years.

i agree with u...if any of u is interacting with girls ... then keep record of chats etc.

For those who can read Urdu lol

in short

- he did harassment..she went away

- told her husband..both decided to remain quiet

- then she met him at concert (both were in a GYM) where harassment happened

- reporter asked why did u not avoid him

- well its difficult as music is my rozi roti

- no explanation why she remained quiet this time lol

- reporter ..there are pics of u with him after that where u are looking ok

- well they were in a gathering not alone

...then some blah blah on how women should report and i teach my kids...

I think there's a culture gap here. This industry may act forward but the pak culture as a whole is conservative. These celebrities are not abiding by the culture that the rest of the country follows. One blogger said he smirked at her and during the selfie put his hand around her waist. In the west and india that acceptable but not pakistan. Its a difficult situation.
And please note ali zafar is making his comeback as a leading hero. What is the complete agenda here we may not know for a while.

It's virtually impossible but since you have decided to remain alone let me add few more. wAoid any confined spaces for example elevator, stairwell, store anything that you are sharing space with a woman without another witness. Don't try to be super nice because and mind your business. Don't work alone with a female colleague. Don't offer food or drinks or be a gentlemen and try to pay for them. And last but not the least. Don't stick it in crazy.
