Because she hasn't elaborated what it is. Details are critical. Who, what, when, where. Since she is the one levelling allegations it is on her to elaborate on this. If she has none then I am sorry I feel for her but it doesn't make the other one guilty. To think we should be inclined to believe her because she is a woman or because she is accusing first doesn't mean anything nor automatic support for her.

As told by Meesha to The News, Ali behaved inappropriately with her on two incidents. She said that she ignored it the first time, but soon after it happened the second time in a jam room. "I was jamming with my band in Lahore and the organisers insisted that he was trying to get in touch. It started turning into a thing, and I was being seen as difficult or a diva, I got such feelers. I was avoiding him. I was asked to jam, figure out songs, scale and it happened while we were jamming, Meesha had said.

According to the latest development, two other women who were reportedly present at the same jam session, have denied any such incident. Aqsa Ali took to social media and wrote write that she was shocked by Meesha's allegations. Aqsa maintains that Ali is like a gentleman even to women who throw themselves at him. "I was at this jam session becoz I sing in Ali's band and so was her manager and our entire band. I am astonished that she would take a lie to this level which so many of us can prove wrong, [sic] wrote Aqsa. Check out her post below...

LAHORE: Renowned singer, actor and composer Ali Zafar sent a legal notice of Rs100million to singer Meesha Shafi after the latter leveled allegations of sexual harassment against her colleague, sources informed Geo News.

The actor maintained that Meesha had made false accusations against him of sexually harassing her.

According to sources, the notice says a defamation suit will be filed against Meesha upon her failure to issue an apology to Ali on electronic media within two weeks.

Advocate Ali Sibtain Fazli, who is the legal counsel of Ali, said the media will be informed of further proceedings in the case.

Ali had broken his silence earlier this week on the matter when he had categorically denied all claims of harassment lodged against him by Meesha.

Meesha, making first-of-its-kind allegations in the entertainment industry, had claimed that she was sexually harassed more than once by Zafar.

People who are jumping on #MeToo thing seem to have forgotten that Mob Justice is NOT Justice. There are always Two sides to a Story.

Like a Veteran Feminist who actually started the movement decades back pointed out, Most of the actresses who came out were Hypocrites for actually offering/paying the bribes to get jobs and now playing victim years later. How are they victims then? In a court of Law, it comes under CONSENT. Not Harassment. A victim is someone who refused to compromise n hence lost a job. Or someone who was forced onto by the other person against their consent. Also, she pointed out that same actresses gave their arms to work with a Woody Allen who actually abused his own adopted daughter. So, the double speak is stark.

Truth n Justice gets lost in this kind of name and shame where a Man is already assumed Guilty before hearing him out.

Irony of #MeToo movement was not lost when Two Men accused #MeToo advocate, California Assembly woman Cristina Garcia of fondling and propositioning them. She had to step down pending investigation like she had asked other accused men. See, U cannot bat for Gender Equality if Word of only one gender is taken as Gospel Truth over others.

Look what happened to Kate Perry who gave a liplock to an unsuspecting boy on her show. Imagine if a Male judge did that to a female contestant. He wud be fired for Sexual Harassment n God knows what all names he wud be called. But, Kate Perry got away. THIS is why people r questioning wat exactly is Gender Equality.

How can crime by one gender becomes OK for another gender?

I personally wud hv believed a Woman blindly maybe 10 years back. But, not anymore. I hv read about enough cases of fake dowry cases, fake rape cases especially against politicians, fake charges by Scorned women including the lies said by both genders in reality shows to believe any gender blindly.

I fell flat on my face when i supported the Rohtak sisters, the Jasleen Kaur n so many others before the other side came out. Same happened in the Mumbai stampede case where a man who was only helping the woman in stampede was wrongfully accused of "molestation" by a twisted reporter who was later forced to apologize when the full video came out.

I realized over a period of time that there are all kinds of people in all genders. Every case needs to be treated on its own merits. I wait for both sides n proofs before crucifying anybody immediately solely based on the word of a person these days. Especially, when it comes to cases in the Glamour world. Bcoz one thing i know for sure is Nobody is "naive" there n the lines get blurred very easily.
