Sharing this because I believe that by speaking out about my own experience of sexual harassment, I will break the culture of silence that permeates through our society. It is not easy to speak out.. but it is harder to stay silent. My conscience will not allow it anymore #MeToo

Not surprised at all. Most men are scum. The fact that he thought he can get away with it even though this woman is apparently one of the empowered voices of his society speaks volumes about what kinda power men hold in the business of entertainment. Sick.

Ali Zafar always came across as a flirt.. it was visible in quite a few of his interviews.. But never thought he would be someone who could do such thing..
Meesha is a very strong minded and an established artist who always speaks her mind, so its not like some aira gaira making an accusation..
However will wait till he comes out with his side of the story..

1. What is the guarantee that women are speaking the truth through these ME TOO campaign? Do they pursue in courts? I mean tomorrow if I come out on twitter and become famous and all of a sudden a girl who has an issue with me (could be professional or personal) just tweets and puts a blame then my reputation will go down the gutter. Just by one tweet,

Why did she not complaint in police? Or saw other remedy

Why is it part of this campaign?

Should I just blame Ali Zafar just because we have a woman on one side.

Should I trust this woman because she is mother of 2 kids

Are their any rights for men in this world?

Just because rapists, thugs, flirts, terrorists, criminals are almost always men ...does it mean every man is wrong and susceptible

I for one am SHOCKED that Ali Zafar harassed a woman. I wouldn't have batted an eyelid if it was otherwise. And i am pretty sure this harassment (the nature of which she failed to describe) was at one of those "elight" class parties where everyone is drunk out of their minds.

She wrote so much about the Metoo movement but then its only a little part in which she mentiones Ali zafar without going into the detail what actually happened. Something she should have. Cause people will completely questioning her side of Story.
They worked earlier and he did that once or multiple times? Lets wait for his side of this story before judging.

No woman will lie about being sexually abused.

It is highly humiliating and disturbing experience.

No one wishes to speak about these things and bring up painful trauma, but they are still daring to do it, and that is because world needs to know what kind scum these people really are.

See our society now, even though they are willing to speak out of their past trauma, people will mock them , or blame them!

Knowing this, they come out and speak, and that requires bravery and truth to back it up.

And are there any rights for men in this world?! What the f**k. The world is run by men,for men. What kinda parallel universe are you living in. And as a woman I can tell you that literally every single woman on the planet has faced some kinda sexual assault or inappropriate touching some time in their lives,esp in public settings where it's damn easy to just take advantage. Some women face it every single day in public transport. Now are you suggesting that we run to the police every single time cause let me tell you we'd have to go there every single day then.

No it doesnt mean every man is wrong but what it does mean is that you should always give women the benefit of the doubt because it's so much harder to say 'yes I have been abused' and live with that stigma and trauma than just letting go because what's the point lets keep quiet. People with this thinking process is the primary reason women keep quiet. And pray tell,how do you prove sexual harassment in court. Do you expect people to be prepared for it? Are women supposed to film all their interactions with men lest they get abused and have no physical proof of it? More than half of the women in the world go through all kinds of harassment but they can't really prove it. Doesn't mean it didnt happen. With everything that's happening in the world,this kinda response is really so disappointing.
