Shah Rukh Khan is currently dedicatedly
focused on working on Aanand L Rai's Zero
where he plays a double role.
Amidst this, there is another good news for
his fans. The superstar has acquired the
rights to remake Kamal Haasan's directorial,
Hey Ram. According to the latest reports, SRK
is keen on adapting the film in
Hindi language.
Kamal Haasan confirmed the news to a
leading tabloid and said, "Shah Rukh only
got a wristwatch for acting in my film at the
time because
Ram won't survive if he doesn't
get a transplant urgently
by the end of it, I had nothing left in hand.
Now, he is the brand ambassador for a
watch brand. I am glad that he got the Hindi
rights of Hey Ram from Bharat bhai
(co-producer Bharat Shah). He should have
some memory of the film as he gave his
friendship and service for it.
Apart from Shah Rukh, the 2002 movie also
featured Hema Malini, Naseeruddin Shah, Om
Puri, Rani Mukerji, Atul Kulkarni among
others in special appearances.
The two powerhouse talents recently met at
an event hosted for Christopher Nolan.
Meanwhile, Aanand L Rai while speaking
about SRK said, "Physically the shoot was
very exhausting but the whole team had a
great time working towards it because of
the fact that I worked with a bunch of
enthusiastic actors, and Khan Saab is one of
them."
"He surprises me to an extent that at times it
scares me to think whether as a director I
am able to match up to his level of talent. He
is an extraordinary man, not just as an actor
but also as a human," added the director.

Why?

That's a great movie, not as popular as it should be but it was a flop commercially

He's been buying the rights of all his old movies because he just likes having them. He said the producers of his hit movies won't sell them so he buys the flops.

And producing good movies is not one of his strengths...

Maybe he wants to rewrite the story and rewrite history ðŸ˜›
