Hey everyone,

I am just curious to why people don't like Ruvya. I was a Rumya fan and was very upset when Somya was removed from the story. But then I got excited to see Rudra with an older female cop. I thought that maybe this will make him grow up a bit and the story honestly has so much potential in my opinion.

However, I see so many people not liking Ruvya and just comparing it to our Rumya. Now, I know we are not going to get Rumya so my question is, Why not Ruvya? What can writers do to make us like Ruvya? What story or angle would you like to see in order to accept Ruvya? What is the thing that you think is missing in Ruvya and how can we achieve that thing?

I, for one, would like to have them a heart touching conversation (Or just a proper conversation in general😆) Honestly though, Why not Ruvya?

Please note that this is just a healthy discussion. Comments on actors' appearance and capabilities will not be appreciated. Only focus on the characters!

Ruvya's love story was not properly showed, yes we all know they were attracted to each other but no body can tell when did they fall in love.. There was no longing, no realization.. So it is kind of hard to accept it..
Bringing back Neha was a bad move.. I for example like all three Jodi's but shivika more.. So i was completely OK with ruvya but when sowmya came back.. If you actually compare the chemistry between rumya is much more visible than chemistry in ruvya.. So many of us started wishing that rumya will be the end game..
The problem is Atleast in my case actually connected with ishqbaaaz its not only because of the Jodi's also because of the story, and I still feel the original story was actually the proper one.. It's another matter trp audience did not accept it, but I still had a hope that in Rudra's case Cvs will realize that.. But that did not happen.. But yes we finally have to accept that ruvya is the end game..

Also social media plays a role as well.. We will never know who started but when people bash our favorite character or favorite couple we feel bad, if it happens one or two times people will let it go but a lot of time then we start to dislike the character the other person likes as a defense mechanism.. That also plays a role..

You are saying they have potential,but for the godsake it is their love marriage😆.If it is arranged marriage i could have agree with your point that they have potential and atleast they would have begin their story from mrg for the audience to connect with them but it is not the case.

Where did they show falling in love phase for Rudy?😕Where did they show falling in love phase for bhavya?😕. It was not even1/4th baked story😆 to connect with them😕.Should we ouselves imagine invisible love story or chemistry between them that they are showing their love marriage to Us?Where was the story for them let alone the love story😆.

For me I never watched the beginning of IB so I have no attachment regarding RuMya but in DBO RuVya's love story was not interesting to me even till now their so called love story is confusing I don't even know when it really happened. I hear lots of fans were excited that Neha returned so I was curious but she came back as a villian and since I had no attachment to RuMya it didn't bother me so much at one point I thought they would kick start Rudra's lovestory by making a hate and love relationship with Souyma because that would have been interesting.(Loving Thy EnemY) that would have been a good story.

anyway nail in coffin was bringing Neha to sell Ruvya, i mean CVs knew that people will never accept Ruvya because people had too good memories of RuMya. But the way Soumya has been degraded to elevate and sell Bhavya👏- sorry that character is a complete waste of time in my eyes now.

Now I was fan of second character in the show of D3 . I was attached with taani character of Dil dosti dance because of actress played by awesome Vrinda Dawda and there is unique story of taarey .
But Bhavya character is useless, not needed no love feeling and after her entry ishqbaaz lost their charm and magic

It's not about who came first or not, it's about story which makes sense.. Even I liked taani and in Nisha Aur cousins I liked kabir not viraj because in both cases their story made sense.. If Cvs developed a story for ruvya many would have accepted bhavya but instead they brought her in and told us that this is it, deal with it..

I can't connect with Bhavya coz they have no story...

Their story wasn't built enoghe to erase ssaumya..

I just know the base plot of RuMya's story and never did I watch any episode.

Having said that, I haven't watched RuVya's story either. Only tid bits here and there.

RuVya lack story. Continuation ki toh Oh my mata. Bhavya was a cop initially. But then her character has been reduced to god knows what. And when did they ever fall in love?

She loses her job and doesn't even give a damn about it? He is responsible for it and doesn't even feel guilty?

Well correct me if I am wrong. Did they even have a proper conversation? And tbh writer is to be blamed. She failed to come up with proper script. It's like there's no character progression in Rudra and Bhavya at all. Rather they had been butchered with logic less plots.

RuVya was brought when RuMya already made place in peoples' heart. So they should have put extra effort if they had to show RuVya which unfortunately didn't happen.

With no story obviously people will not connect. And upon that bringing saumya by making a total senseless back story was the final nail i believe.

I love Ruvya always have always will but sadly their Story was never really planned well.

In DBO we got a bit of beautiful Moments which could have been a perfect start but then the writers failed to juggle three beautiful couples and Ruvya suffered the most.

I never saw the initial IB because I only started watching after DBO and IB merged so I wasn'T attached to Neha. I did hear of Saumya and Rudra's lovestory and I feel sad for her fans who had to see her being brought back just to be a villain- turning all the beautiful memories into fake ones( since she planned it etc)

I too missed the moment of realization for Ruvya the way Shivika or RiKara got it and I hope( though we all know that Gul never listens to her fans xD ) that all couples will get more growth- especially Ruvya and RiKara.

I love that Shivika are well established and have a deep understanding between each other.
