Not going to give -Anika being the part of the girl gang - as the reason for her flaws. Yes her individuality is lost and she's a whole different person when she's part of that gang. Even Shivaay is lost in the boy gang these days !!! But I've pointed out where she was wrong in hiding Aryan's truth from Shivaay due to which so many problems happened including putting the life of the kid at risk- twice !! And also disappointed that they didn't show a conversation on that regard between shivika.

For this one too if she's unilaterally doing things without informing Shivaay I would criticise her. But the mehendi scene looks like at some point Shivaay too join in the plan, maybe , or maybe not ! Until then to maintain suspense they'll show it as it's only Anika plan, at least that's what I think !

I try to find justification, if any , for both Shivaay and Anika if I can, very few occasions I've been upset with either of the characters 😆
