Not Kajol but Priyanka got the offer of Rani Mukherjee's film 'Hichki'

There has been a lot of sayings that actress Kajol was offered the role played by actress Rani Mukerji in film Hichki. But Hichki was never offered to Kajol because actress Priyanka Chopra was the one who got that offer.

If we talk about Maneesh Sharma's films then the first choice of Maneesh is always Rani. At that time the actress Rani Mukherjee got pregnant with Adira and then she decided to take a long break.

Then Maneesh went to ask Priyanka Chopra who showed interest in the film for instance but somehow she didn't give the dates. Well, the reasons were like either she was busy with other assignments or some other.

After the birth of Rani's daughter Adira, Rani decided to make a comeback. Maneesh didn't think twice to ask her about the role of Hichki film. And Rani said 'yes, why not?'

In this Movie, Rani plays a role of a teacher having Tourette syndrome. The film's trailer was launched on December 19, 2017. The trailer got huge praises from the audience and film industry also.

The Movie is directed by Siddharth Malhotra under Yash Raj film productions. Jasleen Royal is the composer of the music and the lyrics have been penned by Raj Shekhar, Jaideep Sahni, Neeraj Rajawat, Aditya Sharma, David Klyton.

Hichki will hit the theatres on March 23, 2018.
