Is physical intimacy important in a marriage for the relationship to grow and evolve..
what if two people arent able to consummate their marriage even after 6 months..
Should such things be ignored ?
Is impotency a real hindrance between two people that prohibits them to come close??
Should one pose enough patience in such marriages or moving out is the best option ?

It totally depends on the couple. There is a myriad of ways to be intimate without an erection. In addition, most causes of impotence can be medically treated.

thats not totally true... Most indian women arouse their husband with butter chicken/food in general more often than with some eroticism.. which justifies it not being a road-block 😆

your're right. And in order to know the full story of how butter chicken became the sexual delicacy it now is, we have to look into its origins:

from an article today in: https://recipes.timesofindia.com/articles/features/the-unsaid-story-of-butter-chicken/an-overview/photostory/63515428.cms

...It all started before the partition of India when the owners of Mukhey da Dhaba in Peshawar sold the outlet to Kundan Lal Gujral (who worked in the dhaba) and he later renamed it as Moti Mahal. The outlet was known for its Tandoori Chicken, but the sheer wastage of unsold dry chicken pieces gave Kundan Lal a scope to play around the pieces with thick gravy made with butter, fresh cream, tomatoes and grounded spices, and thus, the Butter Chicken came into existence. After partition, when Gujral moved to Delhi and opened the very first outlet of Moti Mahal in Daryaganj he never knew that he was going to be a part of history in the world of Indian cuisine. Today, 70 years later the Gujrals are running an iconic chain of restaurants worldwide, managed by their grandson...

Depends on the age of the couple. If 50 years or later, libido would have died down anyway, so no roadblock. That's what happens in regular marriages too.

yeah, its a roadblock. Without sex, you might as well be married to your favorite pet.😆 All companion, no nagging. In fact, its better because pets make better companions- total loyalty, complete devotion.
