I think it depends on the couple involved. If one partner is impotent but the other doesn't have a problem with that, then problem solved right.

That would be difficult, a marriage without sex is strange. I know companionship is important but intimacy is as well...*shrug*

I personally think it is a roadbloack...especially for a younger couple (someone in their 20s-30s). Physical intimacy is a very important aspect of all marriages. Offcourse after a certain age one's libido declines so it might not be that big of a deal for someone who's in their 50s or 60s.
