In the show we have seen that Naina 's mom passed away probably at her birth or when she was very little. They have not shown what happened to Sam's dad either. Is he dead, missing,etc.
But one thing I find very odd . Naina never remembers her mom and Sam never talks about his own dad. I know that might not add any drama quotient. But is it not odd that these two never even look at their dead parent's pic or even remember them?
When Vishakha questions Sam about relationships, Sam could have asked her if she respected his dad at all or has completely forgotten him or thinks he did not exist at all? Since Sam longs for parental love, is it not fair to show Sam missing his biological dad and at least talking to his dad's photo?
Same goes to Naina. Yes she has Chacha, Chachi, Preeti loving her. But Taiji keeps taunting her about how "paida hote hi maa ko kha gayi". So then why can't they show Naina self talk or at least talking to her mom's picture about how nice it would have been if she were still alive?
The makers have not shown even a single picture of Sam's dad and Naina's mom. It is as if they never existed at all...
It will be good if they address this issue and show at least something in this regard.
