It was such an emotional update Mush...I don't know where to start from...My heart broke seeing Anika like that omg! "i guess I will have to fight FOR my like instead of IN my life" shit man! looks like its not only shivay anika whos suffering...I'm going through hell in the process too

Shivay's emotions were so precisely portrayed...I felt like I was seeing him standing infront of me while the scene was playing out. every single crease in his forehead and every single pang in his heart was felt my by me..

oh god anika being anika put on a fake smile and did the wedding planning while shivay felt more sick seeing her like that...what a perfect scene that was. Perfectly blends with Anika's character. Shivay's anger was well justified.

But you know how shivay gave her 2 days off so she can have her own space and time accept the reality? I felt that's where he went wrong...because the more she would stay alone, the more she would feel depressed about her disease. And I guess that was the outcome and she was found right at shivay's office...god that scene...I don't have words...such a pure hug that was...it was painful yet it was a satisfaction that Anika found the much needed comfort from the only person she has begun to trust and feel cmfortable around...Shivay providing the consolation with his protective embrace was SOOO beautiful

I have read that scene 6 times already!!!

and last but not the least, pinky-shivay scene was really very very veryyy nice! really, what a wise woman she is!! I'm in awe of how well she understand her son...and how shivay feels for his mom...totsally opposite from the show...

loved the update Mush!!

Disclaimer: My comment is going to be really long because there are just way too many things i want to talk about. so i will be posting parts by parts.

Part 1/2 of my comment : Pinky

Mushfika, you have etched an entirely different picture of Pinky through your writing and I'm still taking my own time to getting around the fact that I already started feeling way too many positive emotions for the lady who I have hated with all my heart on the show.
She honestly sounded to be a woman who is given respect to just when her mere presence is felt. She is wise, she is rational-minded , she is perceptive. She is simple yet she is elegant. She is the perfect mother one could ever ask for.

she can smell a worry in his life just from the way his hello sounds, the way his brows fold into a distinct crease, or the way his feet stride like a predator.
what a beautiful line!! what a pure mother-son love!! I truly admire her for her ability to read her son. oh Shivay just rested his head on her lap and let her fingers brush through his hair...It was like when he didn't find his comfort in the softness of his pillow and his king sized bed, he sought for it in his mother's lap...it was like he didn't want to voice out his worry or share his agony yet he sought for that relief by crawling on his mother's lap... A moment so pure!!!!

From the way you introduced Pinky, her ability to see through her son's feeling didn't come to me as a surprise. But what did surprised me was how she asked him to tell her about his feelings...I seriously thought he would want her son to stay away form Anika. Which mother would approve if her most eligible bachelor son would fall for a cancer patient? But of course, i had forgotten that pinky is a entirely opposite to what she is shown on the show - someone who is perspicacious enough to not let her motherly love control her son in ANY WAY. it was just so natural when i read it. You really have a way to draw your readers to admire a character who is wholeheartedly hated by an audience...

5/5 golden stars for Pinky!!! and 10/10 golden AND silver star for coming up with such a beautiful character sketch

Okay what the hell did I just readdd...Am I dreaming? was did it actually happen? was I actually crying when I reached to the end of the chapter or was I dreaming? was it actually _____ (blank because no adjective would suffice for the beauty of this chapter) or was I dreaming?

Please come here i need to give you a hug righttt nowww!!! to hell with wedding i have to have to have to give a comment for this chapter...and a LONG one!!!

like fhat the wuck girl!!! Those flashbacks...I mean are you for real or what? every detail, every FREAKING DETAIL was so precisely described that i was imagining an Anika infront of me with her visible shape of collar bone, her void eyes, her holding up her breath before hyperventilating, her white pale face, and that clutch of her fingers on the sides of her kameez. you think anika was suffering? I felt like i had cancer because i felt all those emotions within me too!!!

OMFL man Shivay!!! He stood glued to his spot seeing her...the reaction to this was so blended to the flow...like you know how you wrote that he wished he would swallow his words back? mahn why wouldn't he want to? although Anika hadn't uttered a single word, just her face was enough to tell him what torture she was going through inside...he had felt to console her yet he had just find himself rooted...that was just so on point!!

I loved that little addition of the mela part to this chapter...how he just stared and remembered their happy moments...how she was jumping around carefree in his massive blazer...it was so perfect to read at that moment...Oh my poor baby finally let his tears fall after 2 days ...I also loved how you didn't even show shivay shed tears even, when he had seen anika int hat state... adds more to the paralyzed emotions he had felt...

And then comes the PERFECT mom... PINKY!!! Where is her feet!!! actually before that, wjere is YOUR feet...😆 pinky ko itna knowledgeable, considerate, aur complete mom kaise bana diya? My heart finally found some happiness with this lady...it is satisfied completely 😳

Loveeeddd their conversation with shivay retsing his head on her lap - PURE

love how she could understand him without him saying a word - Wise

Loved how she knew about her son's heart before he could even imagine that he would build feelings for anika - insightful

Loved how she suggested to tell her about his feelings despite knowing she is a cancer patient - RESPECT

AND THEN COMES THE OFFICE SCENE!!! my gosh I swear I hadn't think Anika would reach his office...that's why when you hadn't revealed the the person was while shivay was busy in the meeting, I had crossed my fingers to let it be Anika...i had high doubts because i thought it would be that snob (RAGINI) 😆 but i screammeeeddd when I reazlized it her...

And she launched her feet forward and threw her arms around him - I legit felt like dancing and throwing confetti when i read it🥳 I know it was an extremely emotional scene but dude I was SOO happy with their first hug that the pain was long forgotten

the hug was so meaningful, so pure, so desperate and SO perfect for the circumstances... my heart started doing somersault when shivay wrapped her in his cocoon...the only word that screamed was PROTECTIVE!!

awww she didn't even want to let go...it was like all kinds of self restraints had been bid a bye and Anika just wanted to cling to him to find some inner pace in this brutal reality!!! SO SO SO SO SOOO GOOODDD!!!

hayeee the way his tone became firmed when he asked her about the nightmares!!! GOSH! LOVE THIS SIDE OF SHIVAY!!

Anika must be soo exhausted from everything, she just dozzed into sleep in his arms - can i just hug you one more time!! how do you even come up with such scenes please tell me!!!

and then the promise form shivay!! DAMN !!

thousand claps for you mushy!!! youre a PHENOMENAL WRITER AND YOU PROVE IT EVERY SINGLE TIME WITH A NEW CHAPTER

You know I had fallen for this Shivay right when I read chapter 1. But after reading your comment, I have started admiring him more and more. This is such a well written analysis of Shivay's character. You said it all in this comment. But what really really caught my attention is this part the part I made bold... that is so true and the reality that cancer does not have any cure and it is always in his mind that he has a chance of loosing her (if we think practically)... and yet he does not want to bother her, to burden her with his own feelings when she is already dealing with so so much in her life. ...putting HER needs above his own, laying his own feelings and emotions in the backseat because right now Anika and her health is his utmost priority!

Beautiful analysis my dear!! ⭐️Loving these insightful comments, really makes me get a better idea of the emotions of the characters and love this masterpiece even more! keep them coming
