10/11 Episode Discussion!!

HEy there all the lovely people!!
Me is back with a brief post. I could write pages if it but time is strangling.
Apologies for not replying to yesterday's post...

Fire is one of the elements.. one meaning of Kanak is gold... when gold is put to fire, the impurities evaporate and it comes out outer than ever - gold cannot burn, it doesn't flake like the flesh or material, it doesn't burn - gold comes out of the furnace of fire stronger than ever.
Keeping all logic aside - Kanak earlier didn't think much of the mangalsutra, she was upset when it was missing but she was not sweating about it... but the second she realized that Palomi must have stolen it, she ran bare feet to the site of attempted murder of the mangalsutra.
Kanak jumps in the fire, looking here and there, the smoke watering her eyes, choking her lungs, yet she flails - that's the reality of Kanak and KanUm relationship, circumstances/plotting/misunderstandings has set fire to their relationship and Kanak is fighting alone, waging a battle of survival...the flames lash out - they are the attacks Massi and Palomi have been placing on Kanak and KanUm - Kanak suffers the heat, the intensity of it, she is lost and she screams finally for help.
Finally KanUm emerge from the flames, Uma carries Kanak, he holds on to her as the flames rage on. He brings her out of the fire and placed her on the ground asking her to get up - by the time Uma would get to realize the mistake he has made, would it be too late that Kanak would have to escape death??... would it take another extremity for him to realize what Kanak means to him... he goes off to find some herb for he cannot lose Kanak. - this is maybe the first time Kanak has fainted/ lost consciousness in front of him... would this be enough for him to acknowledge the importance of Kanak in his life. - does all of this fire sequence mean that no matter what happens they both would stay together, and nothing can separate them ever. Whenever one would be lost, other would stay put and fight for them both, Kanak has been fighting till now, is it time for Uma to take up arms.


Ps - we live in a society where women are considered properties, they are targets of Eve teasing day in and day out - in that sensitive environment... sara is made to walk to in mini shorts to impress guys... that's her test, she needs to turn their heads and make them ogle her - that's the worst things the cvs could propagate on national television... confidence has nothing to do with mini dresses or guys... it's the self one should carry with esteem and grace.

Wow blueflames! The gold/ kanak burning against the fire made me remember how Uma once told Shiv that he may be hard on kanak but when she comes out of the fire she will be pure. Really beautiful analogy. Very profound! Kha say laathi hay itna damagh blueflames! I think once you said you are a teacher, right? I'll join your class for sure just to learn from you😊

Gold becomes more pure and stronger when it burns in the fire. Even the agni signifies purity... the pavitra agni k phere hote hain. Even agni pareeksha gives the idea of purity.
Today KanUm walked through the fire, that they will be hurt, in pain, they will suffer but they would come out of that phase.

Wow beautiful analysis Blue loved that explanation of Kanak gold purity.Your insight of this part is amazing and wasdifferent I really didn't think about this seq giving importance to kanum life.As u said kanum is facing agnipariksha to prove their love on each other.Even though one is ready to give up the relationship but other is ready to sacrifice anything to rescue the relationship .Now its just a viceversa of pushkar track uma was the one trying to save their relationship.Now Kanak is doing that.So whatever it is kanum relationship is going to be like Phoenix bird they will come out of burning flames of hatred misunderstanding plotting and circumstances .Sara's part I really dont like it.I agree with your pov blue .kanum relationship is going to become more strong as they faces their hurdles of life

Interesting phase for KanUm. My logical mind does say Kanak being silly in jumping in the fire for mere Mangalsutra. But my indian dramabazi mind find it perfect step for Kanak to do. For kanak also generally it may not be as important as jumping into fire if all is well between Kanak and Uma. But she saw it as a matter of saving her relationship rather than Mangalsutra at that time. She want to prove to herself and Palomi that she will do anything to save her relationship with Uma. Mangalsutra, a symbol of their love became her real love and she is ready to give her life for it. It seemed again perfect that Uma came from nowhere and protected her. It looked so surreal to me KanUm emerging from fires and your description is so apt.

Uma keep saying "You can't leave me like this Kanak. That scene made me cry though don't know why. I guess seeing KanUm in such a way is very heart breakening and both Rhea and Avi did wonderful job. It's from such a long time too that Uma showed concern towards Kanak.

Palomi and Massisa conversation is interesting too. Palomi does seem not so devilish as Massisa. Palomi herself tried to kill Kanak before and now she's worried about Kanak? May be she's stunned Kanak will do such thing. Will she going to see how much Kanak loves Uma and back off. Is it too much to expect from Palomi? Till now she never saw Kanak really cared for Uma so she thought Kanak won't deserve Uma but now Kanak heroic act put her in doubt? Very eager to see how Palomi's future reactions would be.

Massisa's reaction to Pomi's news is unbearable and would like to know how many such acts she did before which giving her confidence today not a single ounce of feeling towards human suffering.

Coming to Bhabho, Sara, Rani and Other (Vansh). All these three became just like Rani now in thinking wise. Totally filmy in their actions and decisions. Comedy is enjoyable but deep logic behid it still questionable. Sara does seem confident and she even picked up youth English so quickly. The Other being Vansh, Where is Vansh? Agree with you that it's always shown that Women need to be stereotyped like this for the definition of attractiveness. I think here they r trying to make saras as someone who is the sort of wife Vansh likes. Previously Vansh always mentioned what sort of girl he likes and that's why Bhabho is approving this change? My guess.

If you keep doing same as before you will get the same as before. So they r trying to do something different and it's not right step in general sense but for a person who is bling again towards Saras's sweetness, maybe it's right thing. I am also very doubtful but let's see how it will go. I do think even vansh attracted to Sara, he will finally choose Saras rather than Sara. This Sara drama will just bring him to his true realization.

Loved the way you described the importance of one being the rock and support for another in love or any relationship.

Exactly u stole my words what i felt for saras, bhabo and rani scene their should create some awareness about these kind of circumstances does not create confidence by putting short dresses and all that should be inbuilt one when time required it will come out by nature itself.

But i like the acting of every one in that scene but big question mark y it is required.

And regarding Kanak and uma scene i felt that if anything happened to kanak at the movement uma's heart stopped to beat like that i felt. And uma is such stupid he went to get herbs to cure her instead he might flashed some water she will come to her sense.😆😆

Today's episode was full of fire and i liked it partially.

After reading ur point of view i felt to watch the episode again.

Wearing clothes of any kind or type is an individual choice... and I understand not everything on a daily soap can be about awareness or a message - but still the whole scene could have tackled in a much more responsibile way...

KanUm scene abhi baki hai merr dost - atleast he has that mindset that he can't lose her... and he runs off to find herb.. atleast he was there for her.. 😳
