"We didnt go to Bangkok" he sounded a bit exasperated when he told his sis
Trisha was arranging shells on top of a chest of drawer in what used to be Ashvin's room
"You spent the whole damn time in the room?" Leela was unhappy
"Umm.. except surfing and and sailing and such" he laughed
"Tri... You said you will go" Leela shouted
"I dont know where shop is na"
"Beta, woh abhi aaya hai let him rest" Mandira peeked
"So u are still here?" he grinned
"U wanted me to be gone?" Mandira was shocked
They hugged
"I AM KIDDING... sheesh u are in a bad mood" he mumbled
"U are in Bangkok and here things are happening" she hissed
"U can speak in a louder voice actually, Trish knows everything... all the skeletons are out Ma" he chuckled
"What skeletons... so bad betaa" Mandira was offended
Trisha paused turning around
The women hesitated waiting for which one will make the first move
"Umm.. hi" Trisha took a step forward
"I LOVE your skirt" Mandira halted her as if she wanted to admire the rich silk wavy patterned skirt
Trisha stopped getting the hint
Mandira couldnt help admire the girl
Her skin positively glowed, her hair was tied in a curly ponytail on top of her head, her glasses were more stylish now she looked younger and fuller
"U did something to your eyes?"
"No... he said I need to change glasses so I got this" she tapped shyly
"Well... he does have good taste"
"I want to try contacts again, but he says no" she said
"Well he wears glasses he looks great.." Mandira informed
"U are doing good?" Trisha asked softly
"Now I am..." Mandira nodded
She had hit the car on a electricity pole and had injured her right shoulder, causing teh door on the driver side to be wrecked
Ashvin had realized thats why she had called him that one day in Koh Samui
she was basically snooping to see if Dadu had said anything to him to ruin his trip
Though the fact that her son was going to be intimate with this girl had bothered her too much
She couldnt let Sharanbir ruin Ashvin's happiness
When it came to Ashvin she was fierce
"No fracture?"she asked her MIL her expression softening considerably
"No just a lot of bruises" Mandira said softly

"I havent been able to drive" Mandira said
Leela was stretched out on her belly on the bed, texting
"BTW Tri, Prasad was asking for u. I told him I cant house sit his cats" she said gleefully
"I have a famous medicinal oil everyone in Konkan uses, u want?" "Its from Vriksha Ayurveda" she asked her MIL
Mandira wanted to say no, she didnt believe in quacks
"Ma hates rubs... except when she pays too much money for it at a 5 star hotel" Leela mocked
trisha looked in the chest of drawer and handed her a jar
"thanks" Mandira reached tentatively
"Trish I am heading to work, do u need a ride?" Ashvin asked walkin in from the balcony
"U dont take bath?" she asked abruptly
He began laughing hysterically, shook his head
"I will Ma'am" he gasped
"Ashvin is a very hygenic kid" Mandira became defensive
"He just came from airport and he wants to go to office"
"To theek hai usne aise mean nahi kiya rahega... he must have meant after shower" Mandira was not happy
"MA... relax... its OK" he "got" his wife's humor
Trisha's lips twitched conspiratorially
"She thinks u stink"
"Only when he wears that tight black rubber clothes" Trisha said dismissively
Ashvin laughed louder
Leela looked at Trisha seriously amused
"He has very unique hobbies" Mandira said
"Maa" Ashvin begged
Mandira walked out with the jar of home made healing oil promising herself never to touch it
"DONT YOU DARE make me an aunt OK?" Leela jumped up from the couch
"U could become an Uncle if u changed gender" Ashvin chuckled
She pummeled him soundly
"YOU told him I asked u to pretend we both had a falling out?" she accused Trisha
"He saw... it was his phone na?" Trisha said fearfully
"U CANT be friends with BOTH of us" Trisha did a back and forth with her fingers pointing to her bro and back
"Thats right... Leela is going to take up all the time, and drain u emotionally Trish" Ashvin chuckled and dodged his sister as she ran after him with a blood curdling scream
"Trish... I am telling you, u cant escape him now, he probably feted you with roses and jewelry to make up for his lack of..." Leela screamed chasing after him
"U just contradicted yourself lil sister with tiny brain... u just warned me not to make u an aunt, if I cant do it... then u cant be an aunt" he logically took her down
She kicked him as he got on the bed to chase her, leaping off the bed
Ashvin bumped into Sharanbir
And stopped
"Back?" Dadu quizzed
"Yep.." Ashvin nodded
"Where is Trisha?" he asked
Ashvin waved pointing to where she was, admiring her sea shell
