It was just a heavy downpour not a hurricane or anything... Why do the guests react so violently, ruining everything?

^ What I could decipher from the video was,

Axl Rose(Lead Singer) shot his wife. I think The wife and Slash(Lead guitarist) probably had feelings or an affair with each other. Hence you can see Slash's act of forgetting the ring during the wedding, and the getting out of the wedding scene as soon as the wedding commences, followed by his guitar Solo.

Then there is also a shot just after the wedding when Axl and his Wife sit in the car, a look of longing and regret is seen on the wife's face.

Then at 5.37 you can see Axl walking past a shop which had 'Guns' written on top of it.

Hence I feel it could be so, that Axl probably killed his wife learning about her and Slash.

This is just what I have drwn from the video. Might be altogether something else also.
