Hotel Milaan,
Bandra West.
8:35pm
After few greetings, ETF made themselves comfortable having soft drinks and starters.
Arjun picked up a glass of juice, still worried about his instincts and took few sip from his juice but he was still engrossed in thinking to deduce - 'what danger can be fell on them? Why is he having negative vibes as if something is gonna happen?'
Soon he came out of his musing seeing the manager standing infront of him, talking about world and politics. Arjun just nod his head, welcoming this little distraction from his worries.
"So ACP sir, how is the party? Is there something we should have kept in our mind for next time? Please let us know, if we need to improve our hosting?" The manager asked politely.
Arjun look around to see what that Ritwik is doing and found him talking with Riya, his blood boiled on remembering Ritwik's earlier disgusting lusty look towards Riya but he controlled his anger and replied in his usually stern voice.
"No, there is no need to change anything, I guess. But I must remind you that we are IPS officers and not some party critics or anything to point out the negative or positive feedbacks about your party. So please spare us in such conversation."
Though Arjun replied the manager but his whole concentration was back to negative instinct which compelled him to look at Riya, worriedly. He saw her taking a glass of same fruit drink from the waiter's hand which he, himself is drinking right now and smirk slightly.
"Sorry sir. But you can tell me about drinks and food, no? I mean it's a very first party organised by our company, so please tell me how did you find this drink?" Manager again interrupt the moment of gazing his wife.
"Hmm. Nice." Arjun replied for the sake of formality as he hasn't even notice the taste of his drink to know which fruit drink is it, he is drinking it to just quench his parched throat. But the next sentence of the manager took away his breath.
"Oh, that's great to know my hard work paid off. You know, I myself asked the fruit vendor to give me the best and fresh papaya as I don't want any negotiation with drink and..." His further words didn't reach Arjun's ear as he almost ran towards Riya leaving his glass of the table.
He reached her and hurriedly took the glass away from her lips as she was about to take a sip of it and he drank the half glass in one breath stating "Sorry, I am feeling very thirsty."
Riya stare at him stunned on seeing his very unusual behaviour, before asking in low voice "Ye ap kya kar rahe hain, Arjun? Everything alright?"
Shree, Chotu, Liza and Sakshi saw the exchange and chuckled amusingly. They look at each other before shaking their head in disbelief.
Whereas Arjun closed his eyes with a deep sigh and think 'Thank goodness, I was on time.' He gulped down to calm his worry.
Concerned Riya put her hand of his arm to sooth his worry. Angrily, Arjun held her elbow and dragged her towards the nearby empty corridor of the hotel. No one noticed the happenings as they were busy watching the dancer's performance.
Now shocked at his anger, Riya asked softly "Arjun? What happened? Ye aap?"
Pinning her to the wall, Arjun yelled angrily "Chup. Bilkul chup. Tumhara dhyaan kahan rehta hai? Tumhe hosh bhi tha tum kya kar rahi thi? Speak up damn it!"
Riya flinched at his shout as she is facing this angry Arjun almost after year. She looked at him and asked innocently with sniff "What did I do?"
Seeing her innocence, his anger flew away. He touch his forehead on her and said "Oh Riya, agar tumhe kuch hojata to mai..."
Pulling Riya to him by her waist, Arjun hugged her and said "Riyu, you should have enquired about the drink first before taking it, na?"
"Par Maine tou poocha tha, it was fruit pulp... no added alcohol." Riya replied with a pout.
Arjun sighed and said cupping her face "Riya, you are not alone now. You have to take care of our baby too. Therefore you can't have each and every fruit. That drink... It was papaya drink and you know na, papaya is harmful for you and our baby."
Riya gasped as the realisation dawn upon her and look at Arjun with her eyes widen as tear started filling up in horror. "P...papaya?"
Arjun nodded his head and hugged her to relax her as he kissed her exposed neck. But then suddenly his vision becomes blur as he felt his head spinning. He held the wall behind Riya for support. Riya felt his body becoming heavy and broke the hug.
"Arjun kya hua apko?" She asked worriedly.
"Riyu, I think there was something in your drink. I am feeling dizzy all of sudden." Arjun replied holding his head in his hands.
Riya immediately, made him sit on the nearby bench. And rushed to bring water for him.
Arjun sigh heavily as he started loosing his consciousness, he kept his head on the wall and his sub conscious mind thought, 'Accha hua maine Riya ko woh juice peene nahi diya.'
Riya came back hurriedly and made him drink the water which did help him little to gain his consciousness back but the dizziness and head spinning didn't stop yet.
"Riya relax, I will be fine. You just call and inform Shree and Chotu that your drink was spiked and be with them. If I am not wrong, it must be Ritwik's trick or revenge plan."
Riya tried calling Shree and Chotu but they didn't hear their cellphone ring due to the loud music.
Riya yelled out of frustration "They are not picking up their phone."
"Its okay, you go and search them. Don't worry about me, I just need to wash my face to rub off this dizziness. You please go and stay with Chotu. I will come in a while." Arjun said holding her arms, assuringly. He walked in the nearby Men's loo while Riya rushed out towards party for Shree and Chotu.

11:30 am.
Next morning, Sameer Rathod entered inside the City hospital along with his wife. Both had this worried expression while tears were filled in their eyes and their forehead were stretched with tensed lines.
"What happened? How is she now? Tum log tou Ritwik ko pakad ne Gye the na, Tou fir ye sab kaise? Hua kya tha, Shree? Just tell me already!" Asked Sameer in highly irritated voice while Ayesha kept a hand on his shoulder to calm him on seeing people around them giving them weird glances where as some hospital staff indicates to be quiet.
Sighing deeply, Shree said "Sir, actually...

FLASHBACK
Shree was roaming his eyes now worriedly as he hasn't seen Arjun and Riya after that amusing moment whereas their suspect urf Ritwik included Holi colours in the party 'to give party the feel of holi'. This step of Ritwik, alerted Shree, Chotu, Sakshi and Liza. They started searching Arjun to ask what steps should be taken but neither Arjun nor Riya was seen anywhere from last 15 minutes which made them confuse as well as concern. And in all this they didn't pay any heed to their cellphone because of loud music.
FLASHBACK END
Shree paused to breath before he continue "Aur Sir doosri taraf uss Ritwik ne alag hi plan bana rakha tha..."

FLASHBACK
On the other side, Ritwik grimace on seeing almost everyone is now covered in holi. Leaving them, he smirked thinking 'hmmm, uptil now that drug must have did it's work. Where are you my special guest?'
He remembered how he was bowled on seeing his prey looking exquisite as she entered the party hall wearing traditional according to the occasion. 'Hush! How can anyone look this much gorgeous wearing these salwar suits and still be able to make me hungry for her.'
Then he sticked to his plan and tried to have small conversation with Riya, pretending to be hurt by being one of the suspect in the case then asked her for a dance which she decline. But he was prepared for it as he called the waiter carrying fruit drinks in his hands. This particular waiter was appointed by him only as he had asked him to spike one glass of fruit drink with a drug which he had given to him with a bundle of notes. So calling that waiter, Ritwik took the glass and offered it to Riya while saying,
"Now please don't deny this too. Look I didn't brought it with myself but this waiter has, so you can have atleast this juice after all you guys are our guest."
She had asked the waiter if it is alcohol or not to which he replied "No mam, it is only fruit pulp." Seeing her nod, Ritwik took few step away from her saying "My boss is calling me." as he don't want to be noticed by any of her colleagues, so he kept his eyes on her from a far. And just like that she was going to take a sip but 'Argh my stupid boss has found this time to come and start talking about something with me.' But Ritwik knew she had drank it as he saw an empty glass on nearby table.
And now he just need to find her because uptil now that drug must have made her dizzy or unconscious, as per his plan.
Soon he saw her walking hurriedly with her eyes roaming hear and there fastly in search of someone but she bumped.
'Aww. Looks like stars and luck both are on my side today. Because my lovely prey has found me to bump in.' Thinking so, Ritwik immediately turn her around as he felt that she is in her sense and is ready to use her hands and legs. And if he is not wrong she will take only few minutes in breaking his bones. So to be on safer side he used his plan B, that is...
"Don't even think about moving." Ritwik warned her.
"Really!? Tumne kaha aur maine sun liya?" She spoke angrily.
"Oh come on Riya! Don't be stupid." Ritwik whisper yelled in her ears. "Can you feel this, it is an syringe filled with my favourite drugs. And if you try to do anything against my wish then this drug will be injected the next moment. So don't try to act smart and move!" Ordering so, Ritwik started dragging her, towards another empty corridor where rooms for guests situated.
As after knowing about syringe which had already scratched the skin near her shoulder, Riya had became numb as her mind went back to the time when her Doctor has asked her to be very cautious as stress, injury or any kind of virus can harm her and her baby. And how worried Arjun have been for the same.
But soon her trance broke and Riya the undercover specialist, the best research analyst and the brave ETF officers woke up. She knew that she can't use her martial arts here as the syringe is very close to her jugular veins with/ without drug it is dangerous for her, so she dailed Arjun's number hastily but Ritwik snatched it and threw it away.
There by the walls of the corridor, small plant pots were kept. Waving her hand, she spread her dupatta in air and then her dupatta get stuck by thorns of one of those plants. Ritwik without even turning pulled it harshly and almost 3 inch cloth get tear up sticking into the thorn.
Sighing, Riya asked "Can I remove my heels? My feet are hurting."
He hummed but didn't loose his grip on her.
Removing her high heels, Riya placed them in the forward direction. Again he started dragging her towards the door of fifth room in the corridor.

While on the other side, Shree bumped into Arjun in his urgency and finding him alone, he muttered "Then where is Riya?"
Hearing his words, still a bit dizzy but little controlled Arjun asked worriedly "Kya matlab tumhara? Riya tum logon ke saath nahi hai? But I send her to you guys 5 minutes ago. Phir hain Kahan woh?"
"Sir uske phone ki location isi corridor se aa rahi hai lekin isse agey nahi hai." Shree whispered still breathing heavily as he ran to reach here.
"Nahi hai matlab?" Arjun enquired confused.
"Sir phone switched off hogya hai." Shree replied.
"What!" Arjun said running his hand through his hair in frustration, just then his eyes fell on something and his breath stuck for a moment. He picked it up and muttered "Riya ka phone tou yahan hai."
Soon they ran in direction of the corridor while Shree dialed Chotu and asked him to get the hotel manager along with master key of the third floor. In the meantime Arjun tried to check every door and stumble upon a plant pot and saw a cloth piece stucked with it's thorn. He immediately recognised the cloth is from Riya's dupatta and assumed that maybe his Riya is leaving clues behind her for him.
He shouted for Shree before running in the same direction searching for any other clue and saw her heels lying beside plants directing towards forward. "It means she is asking us to move in this direction. He must have took her in one of these rooms. Chotu where are keys?" Arjun asked angrily.
"Ji Sir ji. Chaabi yahan hai." Said the hotel manager jumping behind Chotu to show himself to the others.
Arjun sigh and shouted "Then what the heck are you doing? Go and open the those damn doors!"
Manager started searching for the keys of the room number 309, 310, 311, 312, 313, 314. And he is carrying almost all the keys of this floor. Arjun look at the keys and shouted "Ye kya hai? Maine kaha tha master key. Isse tou saal guzar jaayenge."
"I am sorry Sir ji, our master key had broken a month. So we don't..." Manager tried to say but stopped as Arjun shouted "Shut up, open these damn doors fast."

Seeing him opening the door of the room no. 313, her breath stuck and she did the best she could do. She jerked his hand which was holding the syringe. At sudden jerk Ritwik's hold on syringe get loose and syringe dropped on floor. Taking the chance Riya tried to kick him but he immediately took out his gun and hit the back of the gun on her head. Riya gasped as darkness started to engulf her. Ritwik pushed her in the room and in the process her bracelet given by Arjun stuck in the door knob while Ritwik closed the door after pushing her on bed.
As her eyes droop, Riya whispered "Arjun."

The manager is trying to put keys in the door of room no. 311 as he forgot which one is the correct.
Irritated by the scene, Arjun tried to look around as there is only three rooms are left and one of them is at the end of this almost dark corridor. He saw something sparkled from the brown door knob of the room no. 313 and ran towards it.
There he saw it, the bracelet which he gifted to Riya. Without thinking anything, he started pushing the door with his all power and the lock screeched before break open the door and the scene which greeted him boiled his blood to level which is almost impossible.
Inside the room, Riya is lying half unconscious while syringe is lying beside her and Ritwik was about to kiss her but sub-consciously she turned her face to other side which irritated him alot. So to punish her, he tore her left sleeve causing her to whimper before passing out completely.
And Arjun reached at the exact moment and immediately pulled Ritwik away from Riya clutching his shirt. He jerked Ritwik and started beating him black and blue.
Rest of the team reached there and pulled Arjun away from right now unconscious Ritwik. Pushing away their hands, Arjun rushed towards Riya and tried to wake her up. But she didn't woke up, his heart started beating wildly seeing the empty syringe beside her and it's mark of her skin near shoulder.
Sakshi put her hand on his shoulder and said "Arjun, she needs treatment."
Liza added "Yes Sir, she needs to be treated. I had called her doctor to be ready. We should hurry up now."
Without replying, Arjun picked her in his arms and rushed outside where Shree was waiting with car ready and he drove to the.hospital.
Where as Chotu, Sakshi and Liza tried to wind up the case along with arresting Ritwik. Now they don't need any proof to arrest him as he tried to harm and drugged an officer. Later on due to his incomplete revenge his control broke off and he spill the beans while shouting irritatedly about his revenge with his family for insult, then revenge with police for arresting him insulting him in society and his revenge with ETF for the same.

City hospital
10:35 pm
Riya was admitted in the emergency ward as they want to diagnose if there is any internal injury or not as there was no injury which can be seen except bluish bruise on her forehead and syringe mark of her nape.
Outside of the ward, Arjun was standing with the support of the wall as he is afraid about the syringe thing.
What if that syringe was of some drug? What if it was some kind of poison? What if the drug react negatively with her immune system? What if it effect their baby? What if it was poison for their baby? What if... And so on. These what if series were increasing second by second and squeezing his heart mercilessly. The drug in his system also didn't help as he again started feeling dizziness but this time his headache increased.
Shree came near Arjun, on seeing his trial of standing with the support of wall. He tried to speak "Arjun Sir, are you...Sir!!!" But ended up shrieking, as Arjun fainted infront of his eyes.
FLASHBACK END...
"... later doctor told that he was drugged. But now he is fine and is with Riya."
Shree explained everything to Sameer and Ayesha. As he knew both of them must be damn worried.
"Sorry Sir! Sorry Ayesha! I got scared on seeing the unconscious state of Arjun Sir and couldn't understand what to do and what not. Isliye jab aap ne call kiya tou Maine stress mei aa kar aap ko hospital aane ke liye keh diya aur..."
"Don't be sorry Shree, we are family. It doesn't matter that where are we? We had to be with our family in such situation." Ayesha said side hugging him in assurance.
"Relax Shree, I understand. It's okay, you did right by informing us." Rathod pat his shoulder before asking "Where are they?"
"Oh yes! There are inside Riya's room. Come I will take you there. Arjun Sir had woke up at early morning as the effect of drug reduce and immediately rushed to her."
Shree said leading them towards Riya's room.
He smiled remembering the happenings of the morning. As Sakshi was needed in ETF to complete the report and Chotu had to take culprit to the police station and then jail. So they decided that Liza would stay in hospital to look after Riya as her parents were out of town and Shree was needed in Arjun's room as well as to bring the prescribed medications and to look after payments, etc.
It was around 3am that his headache start due to no sleep, so to rub off his sleep and to cure his headache Shree decided to drink coffee from the hospital canteen. He walked out of the room and bought two cup of coffee. Drinking coffee with Liza, he came out of the room to go back to Arjun's room but stop in mid as he saw Arjun hurriedly passed him. Surprised Shree came inside Riya's room and what he saw made him stun. As he saw Arjun ran inside and directly sat beside Riya on her bed, ofcourse taking care to not hurt her anyway and it seems like Arjun neither notice presence of Liza who had dose off on the couch, nor did he saw Shree standing there.
Sighing slightly Shree look at Liza,saw her sleeping uncomfortably due to her short dress as they didn't got time to change. She was slightly shivering too. He didn't want to disturb her sleep as well as not wishing Arjun to turn and see her almost exposed body which he know Liza will be embarrassed to death if she got to know. Therefore he went inside, silently and made her wear his jacket which covered her decently just above her knees. When he was closing the top most button, Liza turned sideway in her sleep and clutched Shree's hand beneath her cheek pulling him beside her in the process. As Shree fell on the couch and tried to take his hand out but failed miserably. So he made himself comfortable beside her slightly hugging her sideways keeping head on his shoulder.
Shree don't know when but he fell asleep while watching Arjun caressing Riya's hand to assure his heart that she is alright. He woke up when doctor barged in around 7am. Arjun gestured him to not move and disturb Liza's sleep. He heard doctor informing that Riya is absolutely fine just a little bit weak, she fainted due to the hard hit on her head and wasn't injected anything the wound was just a scratch. And the baby is perfectly alright.
The last sentence was such a huge relief for Shree that as soon as he closed his eyes in relief, he fell back to sleep keeping his chin of Liza's head.
And then he woke up after two hours as Arjun Sir asked him to go home and take Liza as she must be very tired.
Shree came out of his memory lane and smiled widely seeing his Arjun Sir hugging his best friend, Rathod tightly who in turn is giving assurance.

Sorry to disappoint you guys but Riya had to faced the trouble again. Hope you guys did not get bored too much of my faltu bakwas writing and especially for plotting Riya is danger always. Sorry guys but it's was the way I had planned. Do hit like and let me know what does you feel about the update.
