Let me talk about the horrible wedding outfits
Chandni's over huge necklace - nooo
Her stiff lehenga - nooo
And Advays horrible floral turban - nooo
And that too it was PPs
Now for the episode :
The unleashing of cruelty and punishments begins
How could he keep her standing for the whole night - and sleep peacefully ?
It didn't fit in with what Advay has been portrayed as
But poor Chandni - she was anyway apprehensive about what the suhag raat of a loveLess marriage
But this abject rejection and physical cruelty was not what she anticipated
Advay it seems has decided to unleash every kind of torture on her
EmotionaL, Physical, and Social
Every pain, every humiliation and every torture - he will subject her to it
Well, he is wrong, horribly so, whatever his justification is his mind
And Chandni is wrong to take it, to suffer silently just for social propriety's sake
While I guess Advay's actions are critical to the story and this is only fiction
Still domestic abuse is an ugly reality of our society and so I find it hard to justify it in any way
Even though we have seen that Chandni has a high tolerance for physical and mental trauma
And has been socially stigmatised earlier and has inner steel to handle it
I still wish she was the kind to lash out and hit back
It would've made me feel better !
So an ugly episode, where you would end up hating Advay !
