Advay - how much is too much

ok before I talk about the episode

I don't care how many people protest about my opinion but they have defo changed his character suddenly! Maybe because they want to suddenly increase TRPS and make the show different! And frankly I think it will blow up in their faces! Advay was never shown very cruel so this sudden character change is just dumb!

Advay was supposed to be cruel from the beginning itself. That's why he is called antihero , Arnav also did some nasty things but he still was called a hero. So advay is going to cross the boundaries.

Its just that he wanted to woo Chandni so he tried a lot of flirting and all with her. Even then there were moments when one could see his hatred. So yeah now that he has got her as his wife, he doesn't need to soften . That's all.

He had always planned to force to marry her! He was angry in the beginning then he softened up and then after that he can become angry again but becoming a complete psycho is not in keeping with the character! From whatever I have seen they made it quite obvious that he loves chandni but doesn't want to admit it! So I can see advay harassing her, shouting at her etc. but making her stand all night while sleeping!! No that's just psychopathic crap!

From the story point of view I get it, but still hate it

After all Advay saw his father being murdered, his mother being burned alive, he had to run for his and his brothers life, and ended up losing his little brother also, so his hatred is immense and beyond rationalisation

This is bound to have twisted him and made him insane !

But I still hated seeing it! Keeping her standing all night was also out of character of advay imo

Revenge is all well and good but don't show crap that is not in character

See, he doesn't love her - or at least it's not stratight forward, his feelings are too volatile to be called love, he was expected to make life difficult for her, and expose her to a lot of humiliation at various levels, still this keeping her standing - that's just petty and mean and not Advay like

We saw how advay reacted when he saw chandni in trouble and went to save her! We all saw how advay deep down still cares for her! We saw how possessive advay is for her too! Yes along with that revenge and hatred was always there! BUT this level of revenge is psychopathic and not in character! A person who cares for someone deep down can never do something like this without being affected!
