Enter at your own risk. 😆

1> Sushant Singh Rajput- Every Bollywood producer worth their salt has money riding on this guy (and that includes saabka favorite KJo). On pro side, Bollywood loves outsiders as they are cheap, talented and / plain enthusiastic. SSR fits the norm. With such a high trade expectation, SSR becomes my no. 1 pick. Now if he could just improve on his dialogue delivery and screen presence.

2> Tiger Shroff- If Munna Michael's trailer is any indication, our baby Tiger is no longer cub. And he shows vast improvement in his dialog delivery. While he may have lost some flexibility thanks to his muscles, he has gained some manly looks. If he has improved on his acting skill, then world is limit for this guy. Nothing pulls actor up as action in Bollywood.

3> Varun Dhawan - Guy with perfect score. Varun is in a spot. He needs to reach another level or will remain average. He is my favorite among all new comers and he has backing of few big houses. On plus side, he can give hits to both his in house and outside production. He just needs to create a persona of his own.

4> Ranveer Singh - Ditch the clothes Ranveer and you will be no. 2. Ditch DP and you will be no. 1. I am kidding. With 2 god father, sky is limit. But why at 4. He already had a break through but the gap and Befikre has undone all the good. Still he is the ultimate dark horse with savvy PR skills and if he has learnt bit of control over his craft, his Padmavati character will just place him on top.

5> Jim Sarabh- And you all thought I would add Ranbir here. What I love about Jim is his amazing screen presence. Beside most of the older super stars including Vinod and AB started with negative roles. What is good for them should be good for him. Nothing is sexy than menacing good looking guy. If he manages to outshine Ranveer, he will steadily climb the top 5 position.

6> Ranbir Kapoor - Ranbir is Bollywood's ace. Just not their box office go to guy. Anyone with eyes can see that Bollywood is pigeonholing him to a lofty position. He is the man whose project they want to be secretly proud of and hope he will fail. Failure and Imtiaz give people like him allure. If only pesky little flies called KJo and Hirani would not undo all their hard wishes and pull him to the top.

7> Sid Malhotra - Good looks and sweet face. He is Finn of Bollywood High (that is Glee reference for you all). The wholesome, perfect guy with toothy smile and hint of edge to show he might be bit dangerous. If Ittefaq works, Sid will be in top 5. Why, because Rajesh Khanna was the last man with vulnerable face who did that role. Who was Rajesh Khanna? The man for whom word superstar was coined in Bollywood.

8> Arjun Kapoor - Needs to join Jenny Craig or equivalent. I am not fond of body shaming. But when star looks so lethargic, you know he needs intervention or something. Actor with tremendous reach in rural Hindi belt, all he needs to do is lose some weight.

9> Vicky Kaushal - Apart from the fact he is going to play a hero against Alia, he will have chance to bond with Ranbir in what is possibly one of the most anticipated movie. If he turns out to be Shashi to Ranbir's AB, he will be back in business with a bang. He does need to improve on his screen presence and dancing skills.

10> Ayushman Khurana - It is toss between him and ARK. Two of the laziest actors, Bollywood has misfortune of witnessing. I chose this new age "Amol Palekar" simply because he can act. Though if he is not careful Harshvardhan or Ishaan will take that place.

My list for super 10.

In this new era concept of superstar will no longer be there. People with social media and news channels have become so much involved that no single person will be able to achieve extraordinary support that a superstar has. Leg pulling prevents stars from achieving super status

In this new era it will be movie to movie and anyone can give a good or bad movie.

I dont see one dominating

On merit and considering hype and lineage from this lot of 10 I consider these 3 to be bigger than other 7

Ranbir

Ranveer

Varun

Khurana/vicky/jim will go nowhere

Tiger/Siddharth need to consolidate.

Arjun...well he is super bekaar.. he is not even in the race

this is my analysis

Disagree with your top 2 picks.
I still feel like to be a superstar in today's times, you need to have a sizable amount of fangirls, which SSR doesn't have yet. Maybe Raabta will change that? I doubt it, but I'll give him a chance. I see Jim getting all the fangirls from that movie tbh.

As for Tiger, Munna Michael looks bad and I have seen only negative talk about it. I just don't see Tiger becoming a huge superstar for some reason. No real reasoning here, just a hunch. He doesn't hold much appeal to me or to anyone I know in real life. Soo yeah 😆

Ranveer he is the most versatile out of the lot and can play shades very easily, placing my bets on him . Befikre did slow him down but it was an Adi chopra film despite the bad trailer and response to promo material it did get a good first week collection.
He has been pitted against RK which is great for him despite them not starting off together.

Varun - He has the BO pull and his performance in Badlapur was great, Hope he does a mix of masala and serious roles, he can act unlike the other student and he dances like a dream .

Ranbir - He is talented but i wish He would try different stuff , tired of seeing the same kind of roles from RK, also he has been in the industry for a longer time and had the best films offered to him but hasnt made much out of them,

Also according to me SSR never fits the bill, he is a fab actor that is just about it, doesnt know how to carry himself, not very articulate and comes off as arrogant. if you are counting on the success of MSD biopic it was a hit only coz Dhoni himself promoted the film along with SSR. The film wasnt great though. Used to like him during his serial days but after MSD film he has taken a U turn cocky and arrogant.

Tiger can't act to save his life. In every movie I see him jumping like a monkey. Not good looking and worst dialogue delivery. Without acting skills, no newcomer can survive because the competition is going to be very tough. There is not going to be another Salman Khan for sure. Even Salman was a good actor during his former days, but Tiger is just a big zero. He will disappear soon.

Varun should stop copying Salman and Govinda, but then he doesn't has much to offer. He's an overacting ki dukaan and his limitations in acting can be easily seen when he did the Hindi dubbing of Captain America. I don't see him becoming a Superstar.

Ranveer is a bigger overactor than Varun. Yet to give a Hit without DP and SLB. He doesn't has the aura of a Superstar. His popularity is also overrated. 7 years have passed and he's still being called the next big thing. I don't think he has the potential to become a Superstar.

RK has the potential to become the future superstar, but for how long will we have to call him the future superstar?? SRK became a Superstar after 3 years of his debut, Salman after 6 years, Hrithik right from his first movie. RK is in the industry for 10 years but we still call him the next superstar. He still has time, but better be fast. He just needs to improve his script sense and PR skills. Other things are fine.

SSR can be a Superstar but he needs to improve his movie choices and work on his screen presence. His dialogue delivery is fine but he can improve it. He's a better actor than his contemporaries barring Ranbir so I have high hopes from him. Also he needs to be more articulate in front of media.

Sid is another wooden face actor just like Tiger. Just a little better. He's the Male version of Katrina. But unlike actresses, actors need to be more than just being a pretty face. He'll survive in the industry until Karan Johar gets a new toyboy. After that he too will disappear.

Arjun is a better actor than Varun, Sid, Tiger, though that is not some big achievement. He had the potential to become an anti-hero...an action hero. But for that you need to work out and maintain your body in shape and he's very lazy to do that. So he's surviving doing crappy romcoms. Not a Superstar material at all.

Ayusshman is a better actor than almost all his contemporaries barring Ranbir and Sushant. I find him very natural onscreen and is quite good looking also. It's not right to compare him with ARK. But he can't become a Superstar only because he's not a star kid.

Jim Sarbh and Vicky Kaushal will be there in the industry, but will never become superstars for sure only because of nepotism.
