Which is worse? Akki or Saif winning National Award

Don't know, what is the basis of national award. At least, filmfare is popularity based. If national awards neither considers popularity, nor performance, what is it based on?

I can only imagine the reactions had one of the Khans won a NA for a film where they gave a mediocre performance in a mediocre movie to put it politely. I would still understand if he was considered for Airlift but Rustom of all the movies he has done lately...effing hilarious! 😆 Popular awards get a whole lot of flack and perhaps most of them deserve it but what I don't get is why is NA put on some pedestal. At the end of the day it too has a jury which can be just as easily influenced. This holier than thou attitude towards the NA is what I find amusing and I ain't stating this because Akshay won , this has been my opinion for awhile now. This is like Aamir winning for a Dhoom 3 instead of Dangal! 😆

At least Airlift could have been more justified

What a joke national award have became...Even more pathetic than Filmfare/zee cine ones...At least those are given on popularity 😆

Saif and Akshay are good actors. Sometimes good actors dont win for performances they deserve to win and it gets compensated elsewhere. I think the worst winner was Arjun Rampal.

Akki should have got for Airlift if there was not Manoj in the same category. Nevertless he deserved it much more than Saif. Saif & Arjun's NA are a joke. Akki is way ahead of them.

Humtum was a good film. Rustom was garbage. Akki did not Even deserve it for Airlift let alone rustom.
