I am one of those viewers who do not think Kanta Chachi is wrong. However, it is what she is saying that is totally random and not really to the point.
She is repeatedly saying that Shaurya is responsible for all the problems in Mehak's life, and Mehak will never be happy as long as he is around. And they are making her say it over and over again perhaps to build towards a scene where Shaurya considers leaving Mehak. Note: I said considers leaving and not actually leaving 😊
But whenever people raise the issue of their love, what Kanta really needs to say is this: How do you all know it is real this time? If you look at his behaviour, nothing has changed. He was exactly this concerned, this considerate and this caring last time around too. What is so different this time? How do you know that he will not betray her again?
I'm saying this because while Shaurya has accepted that he treated her badly, he needs to think specifically of how the things he did broke her and her family's trust and belief of him. He was pretending, but was also feeling genuine attraction and his entire behaviour at the time constantly crosses the line between love and pretence. I say this even more firmly because I'm watching the pre-wedding episodes right now and finding them really interesting specifically for how real Shaurya's love appears to be. He played a ruthless game, not just cleverly, but actually completely living it, and now he has to regret every moment where they liked him for being genuine, because they now think that he is incapable of being genuine.
