Why can't Raghav tell Ira about MMS?

I have this nagging question! Why the hell can't Raghav tell Ira that Armaan is threatening to release her MMS.

Raghav cares for Ira as a sister and he definitely can't want her to marry armaan even if she loves him ..so why can't he tell her ..OK, she might not believe him ..but whatever happened to recording conversations? Raghav can easily record a conversation or a video between him and Armaan where armaan says if he doesn't get him out of jail he will leak the MMS and stuff ..without armaan knowledge if he records and shows Ira ..case closed, no?

She might not believe - but whatever happened to recording his conversation with armaan on his cell phone ...or even a video ..can't be hard to trick armaan to say stuff that he can record...
