Apparently Yash Chopra wanted to take Divya in Darr, but Aamir Khan forced him to drop her from the project.

After her debut in Deewana there was a line of film makers to take her in their films
After she passed away those roles were given to others

I bet she would have been ahead of Madhuri if she had been alive. There was an extra innocence in her face that sold in the 1990s India. 😭 😭
