Why dont bollywood makes songs which have dholak and tabla sound

i really miss the real music in bollywood with the dadra taal of tabla and dholak aside ...even singer like Sonu Nigam singing new style of music like he did in halka halka from Raees he was known for his traditional love songs like choti choti raatien lambi hojati hain etc...i dont expect any new singer to sing in that old 90's style but i would love to hear Sonu Nigam singing in his 90's style songs

bollywood should manage the balance between both style of songs like modren western singing which is a trend now and old classics of 90 and early 2000 style of songs ...atleast for people like me who never downloaded any new songs from any bollywood film unless it matches my standard as i dont listen songs just for the heck of it ...

old songs had their own charm they will remain like that till music exists "choti choti raatien" is my very fav everygreen

he is only one left in bollywood music who can emote and express songs lyrics the way it should be expressed., the other two kumar sanu and udit narayan of my time unfortunately dont sing now.. rest scream the lyrics and shout in as hi pitch voices and people love them i dont have any problem with it , new generation kids dont like classics or tradtional music...but for me the 90's kind of music lover, bollywood should make something to entertain people like me who can not gel properly with new westren style of singing and still rely on old music, their should be balance between both style of songs the traditional and the modern western

Haina? Songs with classical touch or folk touch are so beautiful.. They should use more classical instruments(?) like Sitar, veena, violin, mandolin, santoor, tabla, dholak, flute, harmonium, and many other folk musical instruments..

They should take up various classical artists, both the so-called composers of today and classical artists can work together na?

exactly , these days only one kind of music they make that is way more modern kind of , they forget to makes songs like they used to do with dholak tabla sound earlier in times... and trust me those songs are now considered as classics , God know if after 10-20 years from now today songs compositions would be considered as classics or not 😆

once rehman used to make songs like these just listen how beautifully this song is written composed and made with the use of instruments its sheer magic...

That's a beautiful song too.

I am hopeful though, I believe everything has highs and lows and the same may be for music too :( ..maybe we'll hear good music in a few years.. .

I wish there was a balance between Indian music, traditional instruments and western kind music. Personally I don't have prejudices against both western and Indian. What matters to me is that efforts are made to put soul in a composition and its original; as far as possible. I love flute, sitaar and all, tabla etc too. What I dislike is extreme opinion and stand. To be rigid for only one form of music. I don't know why producers, directors and music directors don't experiment or use Indian music too. If asked I am sure they ll say audiences now don't like it. I disagree. They don't give viewers a choice now. Besides there is audience of every genre. Also, earlier there was no interference in music, choice of singer. Now there is. I think in today's generation only A R Rehman can compose such songs.
