Sony sends legal letter to Balaji Telefilms

It may be another chapter in the infamous Ektaa Kapoor-Sandiip Sikcand war. The script of the generation leap in 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii'(Star Plus) is very similar to an upcoming show on Sony which has Renuka Shahane as the lead protagonist. Sony's show titled 'Jeete Hai Jiske Liye' is an an adaptation of an internatitional telenovela 'La Madratssa'.

But, according to sources, Sony bosses have noticed the similarity and sent a legal letter to Balaji Telefilms asking to prove that their concept is original. Though Sony officials are tight lipped about this development, Ektaa Kapoor insists that "It is based on my serial 'Itihaas' which was aired on Doordarshan many years ago". Sikcand refused to confirm or comment on this issue.

Oh for God's sake, that Sad Sack 😡 and his channel 😡 need psychiatric help. If a revenge saga, where a woman is out to take revenge for a death is a 'new' story, well I don't think Sad Sack has seen over a million Hindi movies. The storyline by itself is not new, it is the presentation, the dialogues, the actors and the performances by all, esp Parvati 👏 which are making Kahaani so exceptional. 👏 Sad Sack, I suggest u visit the nearest video library and start watching some movies, they just might help u. Also if u 'claim' that ur new 'original' show has been copied, well who let the 'original' script out anyways??? Maybe Ekta looked into a crystal ball... 😆 Oh just get a life loser, 😡 ur claims are so pathetic, they even make for poor reading. Kahaani is the best!!! 👏 👏 👏

Totally agree with u chrisencia.😊 And yes, I would just like to add one more thing to what I wrote earlier... I have a question for Sad Sack. 😡Why is it that since Kahaani has started doing so well touchwood, that he and his channel suddenly announce their 'new' show based on the same concept??? Also how does one copy something that has not been seen yet??? Got any answers Sad Sack???😡 I don't believe for even a second that Ekta has copied any show, she doesn't need to. In fact, if u look at the overall tele scene, at present each and every show on air, is nothing but a poor version of some Ekta and Balaji show, or else it is 'inspired' rather in my words copied from a foreign show... Nothing but a case of sour grapes and cheap publicity.😡 Well I have not seen Itihaas but I will take ur word for it Chrisencia😊 that the story is the same. Even if it the same, it rocks and the main reason for it is Parvati...👏 Saakshi has taken the show to a new level.👏 And yes, most importantly, Kahaani has woven the entire story into its existing story line which is a continuing storyline while the 'new' show is gonna start at this point. No prizes for guessing whose copying whom!!! And yeah, who gave them the right or monopoly to be the only ones making a revenge saga??? 😡No answers to such questions and many more...
