Could be. But I think the clincher to not cast might hv come when those horrendous interviews of DP drooling over Vin D and doing some affair nautanki with Vin d in front of camera. They were so different from what she was supposed to play in the film! She was a femme fatale which inadvertently came out comical. And Majidis film is a serious role. Also she did really change facially since the test shot.

I just notice this whole Majidi didn't cast her stuff came about after those interviews. Not before.

And of course all those rumours that pee Cee and Kangana were also considered and also didn't get the role came about after it was outed that Deepika was rejected😆
