Raees Trailer MINUS bland Mahira Khan!

Ever wondered what a Deewar or Sholay would have looked like without all the song and dance? Well, here is your opportunity. We stripped the damsels, and the resultant distress, their song and dance from Shah Rukh Khan's Raees trailer to show the filmmakers what a gangster movie should look, feel and sound like.

We think the results are actually better than the original trailer and we will be only too happy if this motivates directors to make movies they should be, without the item numbers, without the pretty faces, without the out of place foreign locales... all the bait they dangle in front of the Indian viewers as part of a time-tested and seldom broken formula.

While we loved Raees trailer, we wanted it grittier, rawer and more intense. So out went Sunny Leone's item song and Shah Rukh Khan's romance with Mahira Khan. What we have instead is the kohl-eyed Shah Rukh Khan spouting dialogues which will have the audience clapping every minute, his arch nemesis Nawazuddin Siddiqui warning him from a life of crime, and action that will remind you of the '80s and angry young men from both Hollywood and Bollywood.
