Raees clash was always important but this just makes it even more pivotal. I think we all were discussing sometime back that one of the movies that Shahrukh is starring in needs to do some major business at the BO in India. If Raees sets some benchmarks in terms of doing darn well in a clash then that'll not just send a message to folks who are eager to clash with him but in general would change the narrative in terms of how some of the folks out there is perceiving Shahrukh's grip or lack of at BO currently.

It's funny because suddenly all the attention has shifted to this clash which is two years away from the one that's happening on Diwali.

Yes!! It's now really important for Raees to earn 200+. 200+ in a non festive season with a clash will send a strong message. Rustom made 125+ with a clash. Shahrukh with his star power can do 200. Only the product needs to be good. And he better releases the trailer with dangal.

Not to mention one doesn't know yet if any morons out there would have an issue with Mahira being in it or with the theme of the movie. I think it all comes down to the budget which none of us know at this point. It just needs to do darn well and make some major profit. If the budget overall isn't that high then it can be termed a superhit in India alone even if it makes less than 200 cr. Like I said the budget needs to be known first. All of Raees has been shot in India btw.
