Just watched it.

I like Hritik. I loved Pooja Hedge. But sadly the movie is horrible. First of all the language is little complicated. The story is pretty boring. Nothing new. The same lion king kind of story with edits here and there.

Aushtosh is nothing special. He is just another director with couple of good movies.

I just want to say one thing. I am so, so impressed and so prouf of Hrithik that I don't even care if the movie turns out to be a disaster at the BO. This is in my list of favourite movies ever now. Hrithik nailed it. I'll be so upset if he does not sweep every single award next year. He was mind blowing. Ashutosh Gowariker, take a bow. Brilliant. Everyone was superb. Oh and, Pooja Hegde is so beautiful and is awesome. Love her chemistry with Duggu.

Don't take it otherwise, but what special did he do? Creating sets when you have money isn't difficult. If the movie is getting bad WOM, its because of boring direction and story. Everybody is liking Hritik and Pooja. Clearly Ashutosh is the weakest link here.

Budget is huge for this movie. It will be a tough task to recover it. Another thing going against it is clash with another big movie Rustom.

Mohenjo Daro And Rustom Day One Early Estimates

The big clash between Mohenjo Daro and Rustom has turned out to be a bit of a let down as Rustom has runaway with the better first day collections. Rustom will gross around 14 crore nett as per early estimates while Mohenjo Daro will be around 8.50 crore nett as per early estimates. The combined figure is around 22-23 crore nett which is the sort figure that would have been expected before release but instead of sharing pot the battle has gone the way of the Akshay Kumar starrer which has notched up good collections at multiplexes while single screens are at a similar level and neither film has really performed at single screens.

It will be tough for Mohenjo Daro to recover from this as its a costly film at well over 100 crore and at that cost its tough without an initial. The film has performed better in South India and it will lead in Nizam / Andhra, Tamil Nadu / Kerala and possibly in a couple of the East India circuits but thats just not good enough. Rustom has done very well at multiplexes and is even doubling the Mohenjo Daro collections in some cities and looks set for a big four day weekend as multiplexes may grow on Saturday but even if the maintain at these levels it will be good enough.

the report for the opening is below 10cr this is very bad opening in simple words and need something extraordinary tomorrow

the problem with the wom thats even if we see positve wom but this come from few people who watch the film thats wom the wom didnt spred enough if you are alon then we will have another story but with clash people will look for anything good\

hrithik nail it yes but when the film flop no one will remember

hrithik need and must learn from this one flop film is ok but you need to change and develope one film or two film in ayear thatsd it and forget taking 2-3 year for risky films

Rustom estimates are being exaggerated and mohenjodaro underplayed. While the word of mouth was positive for MD, Rustom was largely trashed all over.

BOI is notorious for downplaying the figures of Hrithik's filns. Let's see the official figures tomorrow. Just saying oh these markets don't matter is ludicrous.

Secondly yes hrithik did a risky film and for numerous factors it didn't get the reaction the fans wanted. But that doesn't mean his life will be turned upside down . The critics are nearky unanimous in praise for him and he remains a huge force. Let the weekend play out
