So I'd like an answer to this question as you see this is so above my pay grade. I belong to the Mango Man category and so it is very difficult to understand the ways of the one owning the creamy layer. So is it completely okay for a Richie Rich equivalent to go about investing all his time, energy and money on destroying someone who wouldn't even have a teeny-tiny amount of anything for herself? Since I cannot find my logical window to operate on this one aspect I thought someone might be able to answer that what is it in a wild flower of the forest that an orchid cultivating man would even look at it. If it indeed is pyaar/mohabbat and the likes of this disorder then even I am off to throw gobar at a Richie Rich prajati! Who knows I might get myself a pandruh hazaar carore ka note. Meri toh life hi set ho jani hai by god!
So the episode begins with happy faced brothers who are somewhat at better control of themselves than what they were at previously, making us all relax in unison. And the conversation then jumps to something that brought a mini-earthquake in the forum and the discussions went from one thing to another in a jiffy of seconds. No idea whether to laugh out loud on that or go looking are-you-insane'. I think latter would take the cake. So we get to know that even Omkara has a girlfriend that is a cause of serious worry for Rudra. Rudra makes a claim that aap dono par sirf mera haq hai' and the fact there are someone important in his brother's life is source of constant worry. He feels the equation that they share among themselves will somehow be tampered because of these new additions. Well can't really blame him there, the type of dysfunctional family that they are any change in known equations make their head swoon back and forth not knowing where this will indeed take them.
So Riddhima it is who at the moment owns Om's heart and is his steady girlfriend. Good and she is a documentary film maker who is currently shooting in the interiors of Jharkhand. Okay here is a quick tip for you makers; I live in Jharkhand. While the place is rich with greenery and scenic beauty the thing is no person in their sane mind would try doing a guerrilla film-making in the forest of this particular land because of the glaring Naxalite problem! There have previously been incidents where the local film makers were shot dead. I'd say this Riddhima girl is one helluva brave thing to actually do a shoot in the forest; for even with the police on duty 24/7 the problem hasn't died down in the rural areas! Salaam teri himmat ko Riddhima!
Seemingly both Shivaay and Rudra like this girl. Shivaay was pleasantly happy to hear that she is returning back next week while Rudra wasn't as irritated as he is with Tia. I so badly want this to be a well drafted character and also played by an actress who can bring out the best. Hopefully she'd stay a happy memory and not add to the bunch of vixen that we have been facing since the inception of the series. I am done seeing drop dead gorgeous women doing nothing other than plotting to make the life of others a hell. Let's not add this faceless entity to the same CV's.
While we might sit down and jabber about what is to come the highlight of the episode was undoubtedly Tej and Jhanvi. So it is the classic case of love gone horribly wrong. They had indeed started as two people in love and then drifted to two opposite poles and now are frozen there so badly that it seems quite impossible to thaw them. I really felt bad for the two. You could see both Tej and Jhanvi carried twinge of guilt in them at the massive loss they suffered at the hands of their own ego playing enemy. So Omkara didn't carry pain in his heart since the beginning. He slowly allowed it to seep into the core of his being after he became a first-hand witness of the colossal damages that his parents left around when they argued. So Jhanvi had tried protecting him when he was young only to give up after sometime. Even Tej had tried being a father to him when he failed and Shivaay took up the role to guard his brother who at a very young age had begun breaking down. Imagine what it would be like for the parents to see their child falter slowly in front of them. They might have tried picking him up but when they failed they began pinning the blame on each other; and this instead of doing good did inflicted corrosive wounds that haven't healed until now. My interests are upped by magnanimous proportions to know what went wrong between Tej and Jhanvi that these two cannot stand each other even for a picture perfect pose. That was a heart breaking sight to see a family that cannot be a family in its true sense.
If only things turn back to the way they started out years back, most of the pain that Om suffers would cease to exist. Did Svetlana hold such charm over Tej that he willingly moved out of Jhanvi's embrace or was it Jhanvi not being able to cope with the burden of being elite that she didn't bother to stop her husband whom she was clearly in love with at some point? What really went downhill that the two are filled with nothing but regret when they see each other? This is one couple whose healed relationship I'd really like to see. Both of them care for each other somehow but their massive ego and a stain of the past doesn't really allow them to leave behind their all and be the couple they pretend to be. This is sad, really sad when love slips away only leave behind a hollow cast as a reminder that it existed once.
So we are back to the brother's, namely Rudra jumping up and about irritating the shit out his older counterparts. That selfie thing is so on point. My brother had taken innumerable pictures when I had been sleeping or when my face was plastered with a pack. Younger brothers I tell you! So the jibber-jabber between then continues when Om says he had a happy memory where his parents were having a normal conversation without the heat of anger seeping in it. He acknowledged Tej as Dad in his absentia thereby proving he somewhere craves for a stable relationship and a family in every sense of the same. He craves for that one love to hold on to, while he is running away from the same by not acknowledging his blood...thing is his heart doesn't allow him to the same. Rudra dismisses this as a dream that Omkara must have seen because in reality a normal conversation is really not possible. Rudra might want a happy relation between his parents but he is not bothered because that role was very well played by both Shivaay and Omkara. His Dadi held him lovingly, perhaps more than Shivaay and Omkara owing to him being the youngest grandson, and this has eluded a dire need of seeing happy pastel shades all around. Omkara never had one and Shivaay sacrificed his dreams of the same long ago in order to fulfill multiple roles at once. So it is Omkara who feels the worst hit after seeing things fall apart at his feet.
Pinki and Roop angle. Well I am a bit disappointed because I thought Pinki might be more than the superficial gloss but alas she isn't. It was almost so easy for Roop to instigate a flicker of fire in Pinki as far as the heir to Oberoi Throne is concerned. All she had to do was paint a picture that showed Shivaay closer to the circle of power and Pinki was sold to the idea of the same. I really thought she'd have more to her than what she shows off to the world. She clearly doesn't although she made a few points clear. There are no divorces in Oberoi family even if that means sticking with people whose faces you want to rip apart for your happy heart! This might be the prime reason for Tej and Jhanvi to stick around for this long when even the cast of their relationship has broken and falling off its skeletal frame. Come one Pinki have some spine and not fall for all that Roop says. You didn't trust her, remember?

P.P.P.S. No damage control after the video leak? No press conference, no negating the video and no nothing? Seems like after a lousy security team they have a lousy bunch of PR people as well. So much for being ultra rich!
