Did Riddhima really come as such a shocker? Sure, I didn't expect her but then, I also know she's not going to stay. Wasn't there also an episode in which Om told Rura, "Tumhare hote hue mujhe girlfriend ki yaad hi nahi aati." Something like that although, back then I thought he was saying that just like that 😆 I hope that this Riddhima
is the mature girl we are expecting, and that when Om decides to part ways with her they both do it on a good note. There's a massive lack of one-sided lovers letting go of their love maturely instead of clinging to it and becoming obsessive psychos.
I wouldn't take Rudra's still good attitude toward Riddhima as more than it is (and Shivaay likes Tia, more or less, so...). I mean, the guy had even forgotten who Riddhima is, for a moment! He probably tolerates her more than Tia because she's hardly around and thus, no hindrance between the brothers' and their relationship. As for Tia - I really, really want a confrontation scene between Tia and Rudra. Right now, his dislike for her is cute and not taken too seriously by most, but I'm pretty sure that it is way more deeply rooted (e.g. he fears that she'll come between the brothers thus, he really believes that she is not the right girl for his Bhaiyya) - and Tia, I have the feeling she is putting up the sweet sa act for Shivaay. Deep down, she probably despises Rudra and Omkara because they are Shivaay's priority no matter what. Her provoking Shivaay indirectly to scold Rudra was a small hint in this direction. But she won't show it openly since she knows very well that if she were to do that, she'd be out of Shivaay's life faster than she can blink. But for how long can she keep it up? At one point, she'll burst and let it all out. Preferably at Rudra because I'm expecting him to do some kaand at the marriage - and then, Shivaay would blast her and byebye Tia 😆
The Tej-Jhanvi scene was nicely done. Really makes you wonder where their relationship went wrong; it started years ago if they were already fighting around the time Om was in 3rd grade (maybe longer since at first they tried to hide it from him). If Svetlana was around back then or a bit later, then she's way older than she looks- though, I think she came along the way much later, once their relationship was already beyond the breaking point. And I am really loving it how the CVs are unravelling Tej's character. The man who seemed to be the most power-minded and cruel one out of the lot turns out to be a complex person with many a layer. Impressive. And how they were reminiscing Om's childhood - beautiful! And heartbreaking how Om thought he had been dreaming that 😭 Btw, good catch with the "Dad". I didn't realize it while watching but only later.
Rudra doesn't remember a time where his parents were not fighting. I guess that's a reason why he isn't that hugely affected by their broken marriage- it's all he has known ever since he can remember. And Shivaay and Omkara have created their own little world for Rudra where everything is perfect and fine as long as his brothers' are with him. He seems to be the most dependent out of the three- how much would it hit him if there was a time to come, even if only for a while, where the Obros won't be together?
And since the CVs have decided to throw a sister into this family - I want a proper explanation as to why Priyanka isn't even half as close to her brothers. I would have thought age, maybe, but then she's probably closer in age to Rudra than Rudra is to the other two. Maybe she has gotten more attention from Dadi? Went to boarding schools? Preferred to be alone? 😕 Oh, well. And do you think there is more to the fact that we haven't seen Jhanvi even thinking about her other kids, as of now? I only remember that one scene where she tried to make Priyanka dance with her, but there has been nothing in regards to Rudra. Maybe in the future. (Btw, is it confirmed that Priyanka is really Jhanvi's daughter and not Pinky's? I think she called Jhanvi "Jhanvi Mama" in that scene, a bit weird to address your mom with her name but maybe I'm overthinking it).
Pinky. Pinky. Pinky. I'm still hoping that she will double cross Roop, somehow. I like to think that no matter what, no matter her cruel jabs, Pinky does care for Jhanvi and her kids, deep down. And even if not, she loves her own son and shouldn't do anything stupid that will devestate Shivaay along the way. That is a real dilemma, actually: To get Shivaay in the heir position, Pinky needs to get Om out of the way. But if you harm one brohter, you have successfully harmed the others, as well. Let's see if Pinky has enough sense to realize that.
And the bro moments were too cute! 😆
"Aap dono par sirf mera haq hai!"
"Bhaiyya, pout karo no, Tia ke jaisa!"
"Bhaiyyon ke beech nazdikiya acchi hai lekin itni bhi nahi."
Too adorable how Rudra sneaked into Omkara's bed to click a selfie. And his look when Om jerked away! 😆
