Can you not exaggerate what he said...if you've heard him you'd know he DIDNOT make a joke about rape. He was only explaining the excruciating pain he suffered during the shooting and he said it with all seriousness and when the reporters laughed he told them not to...listen it carefully if you have not!
I should have said "trivializes rape" instead of "rape joke". Incorrect verbiage there.

And btw, youre supposed to be supporting free speech and not censor it under a democracy...if you have supported the rights of tanmay, srk and Amir , if you have spoken against the gov banning po*n telling them to back off and not moral police then there is no harm in extending a little support to salman as well...it will help India not turn into Saudi Arabia!
I do support free speech. Salman Khan has the right to say what he wants. Anyone who wants legal action against him is in the wrong.
Free speech does come with consequences. Not legal consequences, but social and moral ones. Everyone criticizing Salman and demanding apology is also exercising free speech.
A Hindu is offended and criticizes PK - that's free speech.
A Hindu is offended and files an FIR against PK - that violates Amir's free speech
People are offended and express disgust against AIB Roast - that's free speech
People are offended and file an FIR against AIB Roast - that violates AIB's free speech
similarly
People are offended and condemn Salman for his statement - that's free speech
People are offended and file an FIR against Salman - that violates Salman's free speech
Barring some extreme situations filing charges and supporting legal action, I do not see anyone here who actually violates Salman's free speech. No one is issuing a cease and desist. He has full rights and freedom to be as big of an asshole as he wishes to be. People also have rights to call out an asshole and not support him.
