I've been watching Ashoka for nearly a month now (yep I caught up with everything in this short span of time :3) and they were times when I wanted to join the forum, to share my thoughts about the episodes but the leap had me really unmotivated overall ! The Ashok-Kaurwaki duo was much better when they were child but now it's turned into such a cheesy, nonsensical and blabbering duo that I'd say both have definitely lowered their standards from once their young, noble, mature and patriotic nature to what kind of characters they have become now ! The couple isn't appealing anymore ! There isn't that elegance and beauty as in a royal love journey, it's so puerile and childish. But Sushim and Chanda's scene today literally caught me off guards ^^' Those little mannerisms, reluctancy, demure eyes, few exchange of glances and words, that little scene between them let out more sparkles, more chemistry than the lead couple and it was quite delightful to watch a "softie", "romantic" and an all embarrassed and awkward Sushim for a change 😆 😆 I found them really cute that I had to come here to see if anyone had made a post on their sequence 😆 😆 Let's just hope she's a princess for real otherwise Sushim won't remain Majnu for longtime 😆 😆

@SenapaiNOTICEME You finished all the CAS episodes in one months.Wow! That's some dedication to the show. Sushim deserves someone who will stand up to him and aid him in his quest for the throne. Not a wishy-washy character.Look at the way he ran roughshod over Ahankara.I don't think Sushim will remain enamoured of Chanda unless she turns negative.

Not really a dedication to be honest 😆 I've just come across few episodes of the serial on my feeds, I know I'm weird, I knew nothing about the storyline and characters yet the thumbnails tempted me to click on one of them ! I did, I was confused as hell 😆 😆 But it was overall the rivalry between the two brothers, one's thirst for that throne that he can go at any extent for it, I got really engrossed in the show when they killed Acharya ;) The two actors playing Ashok and Sushim as kids were fantastic ! But I can't ensure you that I watched every episode from the beginning coz they were clearly phases where the boredom and stretching was real that I needed to cut the crap so I did lot of skipping 😆 😆 Well dear, let's shift to Sushim now 😆 Will you believe me if I tell you that I'm just watching the show again after the leap just because of the actor playing Sushim's role 😃 ? Yes it is ! He really embodies his character so well (I mean, I know as an actor he's supposed to do it) but it seems like he's living his own character when he acts ! I'm really fond of these kind of actors, that aren't mechanically playing the role, the way they have been dictated to do ! And when it comes to his character, I know he won't turn into a Mahan the next morning just because he was temporarily mesmerised by a lady the last night 😆 But it was surprising to see how well he can nail both the villain and delicate prince's avatar 😛

Agreed on what u said about Sushim...Ankit(The guy who is playing Sushim after the leap) have captured completely the character & mannerisms of Sumedh( the guy who played younger Sushim)...It never felt like Sumedh left the show...It is like Sushim just grew up to what he is now 😛

Absolutely 😃 How unfortunate that the same didn't happen with the lead characters 🥱

As someone else had already posted in the forum, Kaurwaki stayed true to her pre-leap self. She constantly gets in trouble and Ashok has to rescue her.She was a pain-in-the-neck before and after the leap.😆

In case you haven't watched them already check out the episodes on March 2nd and 3rd for the epic Sushim-Ashok confrontations. One of the reasons, I like the current Sushim is because of his dedication to his mission. He wants the throne and he will do his best to get it.That's his priority. Not get sidetracked by romance.

Oh I never said the contrary 😆 But I was just stating that as child, Kaurwaki's attention and life didn't use to revolve all around Ashok, she was a pain for him, yet she still knew where's her focus, what she stands for, she was in her senses and was overall determined to reach her goal, to free her Dad from Kichak or whatever that crap was called and bring him back to reign on Kaling without always clinging around Ashok (eventhough that's what she used to do indirectly 😆) but what I wanted to point out is she was still in her damn senses, not all whiny, weak and boggled over for "love's" sake. She had that fiery attitude of a princess but now it's just a meaningless reminder at time by time, to not lose her whole dignity, and self-respect for Ashok, but the next morning she'll be following him everywhere -_- It's literally like she owns Ashok and he belongs to her nonetheless the 10 years separation ! The little one seemed pure, innocent and had a natural aura for that role, but the actual one is way too melodramatic and whiny, I can't even 🥱 Anyways, let's shift to my bae (coz he is the only character that hasn't disappointed me ! He remained what he was, unweakened, unbothered and very much focused on his objectif ! And Ankit though, damn 😳 Sorry, lil fangirl moment 😆), he's a merciless character, we all know that ! He doesn't want to be tamed but wants to tame others, so it was indeed cute and funny to see him being all galant and delicate toward someone for a change 😆 Nevertheless, I know it was only meant temporarily and he knows he gotta get back on track to find some way to erase Ashok from his way to throne 😃 And he gotta do this coz I'm tolerating the whole bhens, rona dhona, chidna stuffs after leap, on daily basis, and that's only for him !
