Just caught up with the last 3 chapters. Hopefully the father is not up to something evil.
PART 27
All were in a dilemma to present the matter to Shashi.Garima herself decided to tell him.She was not ready to accept his demand but as it will be breach of law she decided to talk to him.She slowly ,by taking time told him every thing.Shashi could not speak fluently but through some of his actions and sounds she realised that he was shocked and annoyed.He was totally disturbed and was calling Khushi...Khushi ran to him and hugged him.He was sobbing.
Arnav brought Navin to his room.Shashi started to cry uncontrollably.Every one except Arnav ,Shyam , Garima and Khushi left the room.Navin went near him and asked:Why Shashi, Why you took away my daughter?What have I done to you?I was searching my daughter all these years.
Shashi tried to raise his right hand but could not.He began to talk but it was not legible.But through his actions and broken words he said .so..rry...Na..vin. .Then while he was struggling to explain, Buaji came there.
Buaji:Arnav, Babua, I want to tell you some thing.she looked at Navin and Shashi.
I was with Garima and Shashi while all these were going on.What Shashi tries to say you know?
He didn't want Navin to take away Khushi.He couldn't even imagine it.He loved Khushi as his own daughter.But he even didn't tell Garima.I know why he quickly left kolkota.He was worried the day he received the letter from Navin that he was coming to take his child.I asked him to send Khushi to her amma's house but Shashi shouted at me and told me that nobody can take away Khushi from me.She was nearly 2 years and had already began to call him pappa.
Shashi hugged Khushi and cried.Garima was also crying now.
Navin:I'm happy that you looked after my daughter well.But I've nobody in the world except her.Can I be with my daughter at least for a few days?
Garima stood up.She said:Sorry...very sorry Navin ji...for every thing we have done.Please forgive us.Garima brought Khushi near him.Khushi was reluctant even to smile at him.He was a total stranger to her.He looked at her and called:Beti
Khushi felt awkward and ran to Arnav and hugged him,It was so unexpected that Arnav was stunned.Khushi sobbed and said:Please take me away from here.Please...
Arnav said sorry to all and went away from there with her.Anjali . Nani and some others followed them.Arnav took her to his room and closed the door.She hugged him and cried.
Khushi:Arnav ji, I don't want to go with my father.I want to be with my pappa only.He tried to pacify her but she was not ready to accept.Later every one tried to make her understand but she didn't listen to them.
Shyam:Mr.Navin, she is a major.The law will support her .So please don't force her to come with you.
Navin:Okay, then can you do me one favour?Can we conduct the rest of the rituals and marriage in my house?I'll never bother you any more in future.Let her come to me when she feels so.
Every one was reluctant .
Navin:Any way you are conducting it in your house know?My house can accommodate all your guests.Please..
Shyam:How can we inform the guests about the change of venue in a short notice?
Navin:Leave every thing to me.
Thus after a few hours it was decided to conduct the marriage in Navin Sen's mansion in Delhi.
Aman:The media is a problem.
Navin:We are not telling anything to the media.Let them assume anything.Later we will explain if it is required .He turned to Khushi and said:I want to know the way you wish to conduct the marriage.Your likes..I don't know..I don't know anything about you.Shashi ...I'm so happy and thank you to all.Neelima also will be happy.I'll contact you .He left and Khushi hugged Garima.
Khushi:Amma, Please don't send me away.
Arnav:Khushi..we all are with you..Don't worry.
All felt uncomfortable about the whole thing.

The haldi ceremony started in the Gupta house.Some ladies were singing and dancing.Arnav didn't agree to the Haldi ceremony.Nani , Anjali and all others tried their level best.But he denied .At last he agreed on one condition that it is to be conducted in Gupta House.All were horrified.Nani shouted at him.
Nani:What a shame Chote?
Arnav:Then no Haldi.
But at last they had to agree.Then Arnav winked at Aakash and Kishore.It was their plan.
Buaji and Garima were running here and there in panic when they heard that Raizada family is coming over there.Arnav called Garima and told not to feel tensed and that he had made all the arrangements for refreshment to all.Khushi was excited but very shy to meet Arnav.Every time he saw her she recalled their first night.
They reached in Gupta house.Arnav's eyes were searching for her.He saw her in the small hall inside with haldi over her face and hands .His haldi was also done and she was looking down whenever he looked at her.He was totally amused and was constantly looking at her.She didn't look at him straight.
He murmured something in the ears of Aakash and Aman.After a few minutes Aakash announced:all of you please come to the main hall, we will dance and sing for some time...Aman said:Buaji please help me in arranging the table for food.
Aman winked at Arnav and left.
Arnav quickly closed the door.By that time khushi stood up .Arnav went near her and asked in a whisper:Why are you not looking at me?
Khushi...You look so shy...Is it because of ...?
He raised her chin and looked into her eyes.He again whispered:What are you going to do then in the coming nights?
Arnav pressed her to the wall and rubbed his face on her cheeks and sought her lips.She didn't say anything but was lost in an ecstasy she could not control.
Arnav continued in a husky voice:Two more days ..after that Mrs,Raizada...I'll give you sleepless nights.
Arnav's phone rang .it was followed by a knock on the door.Khushi opened it and saw Payal standing there.
Raizada family left Gupta house and as there was only one more day for the marriage the whole Raizada and Gupta family cocordinated with Navin Sen and Neelima for the same.
The Raizada family visited the mansion of Navin the day before the wedding and even Arnav was fascinated by its beauty.It was built in the kolkota model and was elegant, rich and amazing.The mansion was already decorated and they could see the last minute arrangements there.
Navin and Neelima were so happy.The raizada family was so overwhelmed by the hospitality of them.

It was the day of the marriage.Khushi woke up with a thrilled feeling and she saw numberless messages of Arnav.She began to read them one by one.She felt shy of the words he used in the message.She answered it :Arnav ji..Ican't believe that I'm coming to you forever".
At once her phone rang.It was him.
Arnav:Khushi...I want to see you in the wedding dress.Click a photo and send it when you are ready .I'm eagerly waiting.
Khushi:Yes Boss...
Khushi continued:I feel tensed Arnav ji..I don't know..some thing makes me disturbed.
Arnav:It's because of the entry of your father and change of venue.Don't worry...just a few hours more and after that you are with me.
Khushi:Bye...Arnav ji.

The gupta family reached Navin's House .They gasped at the sight of the building.Navin and Neelima welcomed them.Khushi was taken to a special room.She was absolutely stunned by the arrangements.A red colour wedding dress with golden work was laid on the cot.Many boxes of ornaments were also with them.She began to get dressed by the experts within minutes.At last when she was ready Payal and Garima were staring at her.She herself was astonished by seeing her reflection in the mirror.Oh my God..Is it me?
She asked Payal to click a photo and then she sent it to Arnav.He was so lost in her beauty that he didn't hear Anjali coming to his room.She looked over his shoulder and saw him looking at Khushi's picture.Arnav Startled when she suddenly spoke.
Anjali:You love her so much know Chote?I'm so happy for you Arnav.She looks breathtakingly beautiful.Come, chote, let us go.
The Raizada and Aman's family along with other relatives friends reached the venue and they were received in a grand manner.
Arnav was eager to meet her and to be near her.Panditji came and he started the initial pooja ceremony.Suddenly he stopped and looked at Nani .Pandit ji had a worried expression and Nani and others got tensed.What happened?they asked.
Pandit ji:Arnav beta, I want to talk to you .All were in a panic.He went with Arnav ,Nani and Shyam to the nearby room.
Panditji:I'm sorry to say this...I see a bad omen coming in your way.I cannot complete my mantras and I feel danger to Arnav beta and Khushi beti.I'm going to restart the pooja and ask every one to pray intently.If we are able to cover the next 10 hrs without any problem, then all the obstacles to this marriage will be over.
Nani ji:Pandit ji..I'm afraid...Is there any solution?
Pandit ji:That is what I'm going to do first.After that the marriage rituals.
When Pandit ji went from the room Arnav said:Sab Bakwas hai.
Nanai ji:Chote, don't make fun of a learned person.
But Arnav was a little nervous.He was not afraid for himself but for his Khushi.
Before starting the prayer he asked to bring Khushi and asked both Arnav and Khushi to sit beside him. The guests and relatives were sitting around .
Arnav was waiting for Khushi to come.He saw her standing at the top of the stairs.All were staring at her.He started to move towards her to bring her down by himself.As he was so lost in her beauty he didn't see or hear a person suddenly coming from behind a pillar with a huge knife aiming him.Suddenly his securities came like a storm there and caught him.But at the same moment they heard a heart wrenching screaming ...Arnav ji...No,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and Khushi came down with a thud.
Nobody understood what was going on.But when all came back to their normal they saw Khushi lying downwith blood coming from her forehead.
Arnav screamed which shook the whole building:Khushi...Khushi...wake up...
Every one gathered around him and Khushi and soon the ambulance came and taken her to hospital.It was a situation beyond explanation.Garima lost her consciousness and the house was now full of screams.Karan and security caught hold of the culprit..Shyam and Navin were shocked to see the person.It was Rohit's father.
Arnav was in the hospital along with all others.He laid Khushi on his lap and was hugging her throughout the way to hospital.He didn't speak.Aman was sitting beside him.Arnav was touching Khushi's cheeks and was looking at her like a mad person.
He himself picked up Khushi and took her to emergency.He waited outside.His eyes were red and lips were like a thin line.No one asked him anything.They were crying uncontrollably.He stood outside staring at the door.Aman touched him light on his shoulder.He didn't move.The door of the room opened and the doctor came outside.
Arnav was looking at him as though going to kill him.
Doctor:..I'm ..sorry...can't say anything now.She is not responding..please wait for next 24 hours.
Then they heard a sound from Arnav, shaking the whole building;;;No...No...
Aman tried to control him but in vain.He turned and walked very fast from there.Aman ran after him.He went to the parking area,looking here and there like a mad personand then began to walk..Aman quickly brought his car beside him and made him sit on the front seat.Aman under stood him more than anyone else.He took him to an open space,opened the door and Arnav got down.He walked aimlessly and cried aloud.He was shaking on the force of his own sound.Aman stood watching,tears rolling down his cheeks.Arnav cried and cried and at last hugged Aman and it was a heart breaking moment.
Arnav:I'm punished Aman...I'm going to lose her...kill me ..please kill me...
Aman:No...you won't lose her..you love her very much;;;God won't punish you...
Arnav raised his head:Aman ..please take me to temple...
Aman could not believe his ears...Temple?
Arnav:Yes...
Aman took him to the near by one.
Arnav didn't know what to do.He simply sat there leaning on a pillar.Aman joined him.Tears were rolling down his cheeks.
Arnav:Aman,What shall I do to save her life?
Aman:All the expert doctors are with her.I called Aakash,he told me that Navin has also arranged some specialists.She is under good care.We'll pray to god for the speedy recovery.
Arnav:Aman...money,wealth,power..all these are nothing...A peaceful life with the loved one's,their happiness are more important...I don't want anything but only my Khushi...If I lose her you won't see me again...
Aman:Please pray for her...close your eyes and pray..
Aman's phone buzzed.He saw Aakash calling.Arnav was tensed.
Aman:Yes..Aakash...
Aakash:Aman Bahi..where is bhaiyya...Khushi ji started responding.
Aman:Arnav...she started responding...
Arnav sobbed like a small child.He stood up and thanked god. His shivering hands were now ringing the bell in front of the shrine .The priest and the devotees were keenly looking at him.They saw Arnav crying while ringing the bell. The priest asked Aman the reason .He conveyed the matter.He gave prasad to Aman and asked him to apply it on the forehead of Khushi.
They returned to hospital fast.Arnav didn't speak.He rested his head on the seat and closed his eyes.He had a total recall of the moments with Khushi.They reached the hospital.All were eagerly waiting for him.The Raizada and Gupta family, staff, neighbours,relatives,police,VIPs etc.Their eyes were on Arnav.No one dared to speak to him.He went near the ICU and doctors let him inside.He saw Khushi lying on the bed and responding to medicine.Aakash also went with him.
Doctor:Mr.Raizada, your wife is out of danger.It is the shock along with the force she came down that is causing this condition.Don't worry..We'll do our best.It will take a few more days to come to the normal.
Arnav:Doctor,..so I'll get back my wife know?
Doctor:Of course.
Arnav:Then I'll sit with her till she comes to the normal.
Doctor:No..that is against the hospital rules.
Aakash:Bhai,we will wait outside.
A reluctant Arnav went with Aakash.
