51.Can you name a composer who was accused of misusing tax collections to build a temple for Sri Rama?

Bhadrachala Ramadasa was a clerk in the Nawab's court. When Ramadas collected taxes from the citizens, instead of paying it into the treasury, he used them to renovate the Sri Rama temple in Bhadrachalam. The Nawab assumed that Ramadas has stolen the revenue for himself and accordingly, put him in prison. Ramadas spent his time at the prison composing songs on Sri Rama. One day, Lord Rama along with his brother Sri Lakshmana appeared like ordinary citizens and paid the Nawab the money that Ramadas has spent building the temple and got Ramadas released from the prison.

56.Give one basic difference between Western and Indian music systems.

What differentiates Indian music system from its Western counterpart are the notes or the swaras. In Indian music, the swaras are of varying frequency unlike in Western music where it is fixed tone intervals. Because of the varying note frequency intervals, Indian music is able to create its raga scheme and thala scheme and no other music system in the world has this unique feature. Because of the variability or changeability in the tones, in Indian music system, the harmony is horizontal as opposed to vertical in the Western system. Consequently, during a performance or a concert, there is no need to changes the keys.

dna proves this statement.

I came across this in India abroad..one of the reader posted a letter there and Iam typing it here...

It was beleived that homo sapiens arose as a new species in Africa and subsiquently spread. But data from other resources- such as Vinayak Eswaran, Henery Harpending and alan rogers- sugests that humans has assimilated genetic material from non -african sources abut 200,000 years ago.

these humans , settled in India, spread therir sails and went north, east and west.

The civilization found buried at Harappa and Mohenjo Daro preceded the Aryan civilization and the Dravidian civilization preceeded the Harappa and Mohenjo Daro civilization. Note also that the architecture of Mohanjo Daro and Machu Pichu in Peru have remarkable similarity.

There was a town named Urk in Mesopotamia- a word in tamil that means melting, making it a metallurgy- based town. The towns of Ramallah and ramadi in Iraq are named after the epic hero Rama; Ramadi is found in the district of Anbar-friend in tamil. There is Amman-the name of diety Kali in tamil lore- jorden;and there are words of tamil origin in ancient celtic languages of Ireland. All tese pont to some common roots.

The Dravidiains , after visiting these regions and finding nothing tehre are found n their country, travelled back to India.

Dr VK Kashyap avers that there is 'no clear genetic evidence for the intrusion of Indo-Aryan people into India. The eurocentric view that Aryans invaded Inmdia from Central Asia lacks credence.

It was actually the return of the Dravidians to Indiqa. There are many loose ends to the tie and histories to be rewritten
